A 20-year-old gunman opened fire on Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13. The shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, has nearly no digital footprint. Federal investigators are diving deep into Crooks’ phone and possessions in an attempt to identify his motive for trying to assassinate the former President. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie discusses the would-be assassin’s motive.

  • What kind of guest is this? No relevant info, just throws everything against the wall in the hope that something sticks.
  • The roof was too sloped for the secret service to have agents on it. That's such a huge lie it makes us wonder what else they're lying about.
  • @CuttinBlade
Is anybody wondering why they're using his high school photos?
  • Think about this for once. This young man wasn't capable of traveling very far. He took his chance when someone of interest was within his driving distance. He wasn't going to drive all the way to DC, California, or anywhere else.
  • @CuttinBlade
He looks like Jason Voorhees in the flashback scenes when he was a kid drowning in the lake
  • The public are the first ones to be affected & the last ones to know the why…
  • @Riclmnopp
At this moment, we are not conspiracy theorist, we are conspiracy witnesses.
  • A better question would be, what was the motive behind Secret Service's blatantly deliberate negligence and feigned incompetence?
  • @itsmeprada
IMHO, This loner - who looked up several different political figures - would’ve attempted to ‘shewt’ any prominent politician be they left, right, or center that rallied so close to his home.
  • Alphabet agencies hit the kid with a Honeypot, and he did whatever they wanted. He didn't do this alone.
  • If he didnt write a manifesto or leave anything written behind, that tells me that he expected to live through his assassination attempt, that he had more targets.
  • @jlind3891
The bigger question. Why did the secret service director let him try to kill?
  • @akiharuhino
People are not born evil; it is the treatment of society that creates villains.
  • The roof was too sloped to have agents there *proceeds to lay on an even steeper slope*
  • @bruhhh_8695
He registered as a Republican to vote against Trump in the Primary. In Pennsylvania the Dems did not have a Primary, so he had to register Republican to vote at that time. Plenty of other dems did the same.
  • If I worked for the FBI and felt Trump was a threat to democracy why in the world would I share information with the public that would potentially help him?
