it's a tenth of the price of so many other gravel bikes, yet those other gravel bikes aren't ten times better than this. I think that's why people are up in arms.

I've had mine for just over 2 weeks now and I love it. I'm going to try the saddle you recommend though. Looks good too. 👊

I love this bike. It fits my needs just perfectly. I use this bike to take my dog on walks on our gravelish trails we have here in Phoenix.

Picked one of these up while not even looking for a bike at the same time. I mainly mountain bike. But got tired of trying to have fun on the mountain bike while in town riding with my sons. I jumped on YouTube and started seeing the craze behind this bike. I went on a whim to my local Walmart and before my eyes they had a few in stock. It’s been so nice on the few rides I’ve been out so far. Again I had no intentions on purchasing a second bike at all. But all these raves and reviews sparked my interest and for the price, I’m pretty stoked. Thanks for this video and your honesty. I will also look into some upgrades as well as a new saddle. Thanks!🤙

Threw my old XTR rear derailleur (now shifts like butter) and a 14-34 freewheel gets up almost any hill. New seat and pedals (of course) and its working sweet. rear rack basket and bags and now I can get groceries and exercise at once.

It's a great value! When I was looking for a gravel bike, the cheapest models from the reputable brands were 700-800$, while you could buy a decent mountain bike from the same brands for like 600$. I was thinking about buying a frame and building bike myself, but the frame itself would cost more than this bike. There really were no budged options for gravel bikes before. This bike is great. But I agree that freewheel is its biggest drawback. It will probably work fine. But if you will want to upgrade a drivetrain you will need to replace a hub, which means reassembling the wheel. It would probably be easier to just buy a used wheel. And just replacing freewheel cassette is pretty much impossible too. If you have ever tried this - you know what I'm talking about.

Can't wait to get my hands on one.

If you want a rise out of this bike flip the stem over, that’s what I did after I got this bike. 🙂

"Charge" saddles are great ! Had one on my training bike for about 5 Years and cannot fault them for value and comfort .
  • Just brought this bike yesterday been debating a while and pulled the plug. Your review helped me decide . Bike was AMAZING felt great and is a amazing starter gravle bike. 2nd bottle cage mount is sus thought . I reached out to the manufacturer and they changed it too that fon previous modles but did not say why. The Ozark trail vibe 2.0 specifically is amazing too and wroth your money . Honeslty these bikes are amazing and ride about 20 miles each route to completion. Will get that saddle on my next upgrade .

This channel gets points for the OG Mega and Dragonzords in the background!
  • The color is called Green Tea, it's written on the walmart info card now. I recommend checking the wheel ball bearings, mine were adjusted super tight and with very little grease inside so I rebuilt both axles properly and now the wheels rotate super buttery smooth.

That's a great bike for not a lot of money. Wait until the Spoon breaks in, comfort increases. 👍

I'm enjoying riding this bike, still currently stock. And it's really upgradable if someone wants to make changes. Can't beat the intro price for a gravel bike.

I am new to bicycling and bought this bike based on your review. I would love to see a video on upgrading/adjusting parts in addition to the saddle and pedals.
  • For anyone wondering about this bike, I bought one today and rode it 11 miles in just under an hour to get the feel for it. I absolutely enjoyed it. I have a Poseidon Norton (hardtail) and a Giant Trance Advanced (carbon full sus, got this one used.) so I don’t know squat about gravel bikes. For $250, it is absolutely worth it. I was pleasantly surprised. Much like Chicken Sendies, I swapped out the pedals before, tightened everything up, and headed out. I’m ordering a saddle ASAP 😂. Even with padded shorts, my butt was getting sore. I’m 5’9”, got the medium. Feels good.

Seeing your trail made me want to get on my '90s MTB, a bike the internet tells us we aren't supposed to want anymore. Even in '93 I wasn't supposed to want it, because it has a rigid fork. As for the Walmart bike, I'm curious, same as everyone else. But for mostly different riding.
  • @SHWELL11
Nicely done. I went with the same seat and added some brown grip tape.
