Spoiler: ss4 ch always been a starter (since tekken 3), it was nerfed in the beta/demo and turned in a starter with the second hit causing tornado, in the full game. Basically it does less damage then before, but at least is a starter. A move can't be considered buffed if previously was heavily nerfed. It's just come back (almost) like before.

So yes this move launches if you follow up with the second hit of ss2 . The ss4 doesn’t launch by itself in counterhit so you’ll have to commit to the full string for it.

Does the ss4, 2 now trigger tornado as well on aerial hits?
