What an amazing property. The grounds have very good bones and it is fortunate that the neighbor farms it as you have quite a bit to renovate in the house. The house has nice high ceilings, beautiful doors, windows and wood work. It looks like it was a house of someone wealthy, that had a very short cook. It will take very good perception to reimagine it to your own life style. In today's modern world technology has minimized the need for large libraries. A wonderful project! If it was me I would get the new roof on and take my time clearing it out and thinking of how to use the spaces and let the inspiration come. Of course I've lived in a new house for year before I decided on curtains. Looking forward to your progress. Congratulations it will be a beauty!!!!
