Monsters and shootouts abound in this animated western comedy following an overconfident kid, his apathetic partner, and a spider-girl with some serious boundary issues. What will it take to save CliffSide from some rather unconventional evil in the surrounding cliffs, and will our hero ever actually learn anything?

Episode 1 - "Pilot"
Getting tangled up with an excitable spider-monster named Cordie who suffers from a validation complex to rival his own, Waylon quickly learns his bold gunslinger talk leads to horrifying actions when put into practice by his new super-fan. Now he’s got some explaining to do and a western standoff or two to perform if he hopes to scrape by without learning anything from this whole ordeal.

"This spider lady tried to eat me!" "I like your hat."

8:55 According to science, some types of spiders poke on their mate's eyes to tell them that they want to lay eggs with them, so yeah... Cordie was actually telling him that she wanted to have babies with him, on that place...

You can see a lot of this pilot's DNA in Murder Drones, from the twisted grins, to the dangerous to helpful secondary character, to the offbeat tone that is only like 40% serious.

This dude just straight up convinced death itself to not kill him by letting it become a sheriff. Speech 100
  • An idiot savant outlaw An utterly deadpan sidekick And an overly attached spider girl. I’m sold.

7:32 I think Liam has a thing for murderous women with insane reflexes and timing, since both Cordie and V stopped bullets like that

Okay, is no one gonna talk about deaths design?! IT GOES SO HARD. Incredibly creative, not having him talk, his body symbolizing a body bag, and the fact that his hood is actually a gaping mouth full of teeth. Peak fiction.

''Why don't you pick on someone from your own metaphysical plane of existence?'' Best line in the whole episode.
  • You know since Liam Vickers now works for Glitch Productions, it’s entirely possible that Cliffside will get a second episode.

The fact that this hasn't been picked up as a series is a literal crime against humanity.

How can one singular person animate such a masterpiece! This definitely deserves to become its own full show :0

I can see the similarities in style by the iconic smiles with murder drones and how the spider has in common with V
