The M142 Himars MLRS was created as a long-range system and therefore has a reduction in the explosive power of warheads in order to increase the range, and in addition is not a flamethrower system. The TOS-1A system, on the contrary, was created to achieve victory directly on the battlefield and is also a heavy flamethrower system. The fact that both systems are MLRS does not make their class similar.

Its cannot to be compare, himars is high mobility, tos is termobaric launcher to destroy fortifications, mass gruop of army etc. Himars is precision artillery. Not to compare, because its different weapons.
