Late 20th century be like: Nation 1: hey! wanna do war? Nation 2: Yeah sure! Quickly before the UN sees!
-
In 1799-1801 the British helped repel the French invasion of Egypt. 150 years later the British and French would work together to invade. Interesting how things change.
-
The ending feels rushed. How did the UN, US and USSR decide to step in? What was at stake? Why did the UK and France comply?
-
Damn The Animation on these is getting better then a lot of video games I played props to Y''all
-
Israel: what r u guys doing here? UK/France: umm, what r u doing here? Israel: I asked first.

15:25 British using Blitzkrieg? Looks like they’ve learnt it the hardest way.

Despite the military defeats suffered during this event, this was a huge political win for Nasser. Far from leading to his overthrow, it cemented his reputation with the people as someone who was willing to stand up to the old empires. He was so popular after this that following the defeat in the 6 Day War, Nasser said he would resign, but the populace threatened to riot if he did.

i love how you can see the reflections of units in the water. amazing little details all around. Great work!

2 key things you didn't discuss here. Firstly, future Canadian PM Lester B. Pearson was the one who formulated the ceasefire and was subsequently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his actions. Secondly, one of the sticking points of the ceasefire was that the Straits of Tiran were not to be blocked again under any condition. Egypt violated that in April 1967 to close Israel off from the Red Sea, effectively setting the casus belli for the Six Day War two months later.

My Grandad almost ended up lynched because of the Suez Crisis. He was a British man working for Shell in Cairo as troops were landing. Thankfully he saw which way the wind was blowing and got out before any angry mobs formed
-

The moment the British and French realized they had been replaced as the dominant powers in the world. The time of the Lion and Tricolor was over. The age of the Eagle and Bear had begun.

I love that you're doing conflicts that happened after WW2, while they aren't as big or major as other major conflicts during the Cold War, this is the best
