I had brain fog in addition to digestive issues and GERD. I’m also non celiac gluten sensitive. I started a Keto diet and felt better within a week. I then added intermittent fasting. I eat at 11am and 5pm. I do not eat cane sugar. I use Stevia. I feel like a new person. No constant hunger pains or cravings. No digestion issues or GERD. I feel full eating wholesome foods. So, low carbs and no sugar have changed my life giving me energy, no brain fog, and weight loss.

Remedies: 1. Sleep - bed by 10, reduce blue light 2. Exercise 3. Diet - Less carb, whole food, replace caffeine 4. Stop procrastinating 5. Psychedelics 6. Iodine (seaweed) 7. Intermittent Fasting
  • I used to exercise on a regular basis and started fasting again. Both give you a clear mind and disciplined thoughts

I smiled when you said fasting, since doing intermittent fasting its been a game changer for me, my story is similar to yours and now I am focused and alert all day long, ill wake up do a 2 hour run, work out, then work and eat in the evening and its amazing <3

Calm, clear, creative, connected. These are the vibes I get from your excellent videos so far. Thank you for sharing your experience with us in such an entertaining and unpressured way.

For the ladies: I've been doing so much better since I've stopped using hormonal contraception... talking about brain fogging yourself into a shadow of your true being. Thnx Andrew, as always insightful and inspiring message!
  • Man, this is such a powerful video. I like how casual you address the issue. Sometimes the "serious" videos drain a lot of energy & exhaust the attention span. I guess that's also because of a brain fog. Before i came accross your video i didn't know what was wrong with me. I always feel like my brain's fogged but all these months (since i noticed the problem) i thought i was just imagining things - i didn't think this actually existed. But your video has confirmed my suspicions. I won't lie I'm an addict of social media & i have become very lazy to exercise & read for the past 12 or so months. I guess this is a wake up call. Thanks man. And oh, i really really really procrastinate - which is my biggest weakest point.

Ive been doing intermitent fasting for a week now and came back to personally thank you. Ive been in a really dark place for a really long time thinking that there is something seriously wrong with me, with how tired, forgetful and depressed i would be during most the day. Every task was a major struggle. But just after a couple of days of doing this i am like a new person. I am motivated to keep going and learning about it. So grateful, thank you so much for the this and the content!
  • I struggle with brain fog and find you relating your personal experience very valuable! I appreciate the first hand experience rather than someone relating tips they just found on the Internet. Thank you!
  • Thank you so much. I have had positive experience and or observation of everything you presented except iodine. I am so stuck that I haven’t had the strength and clarity to admit those truths. In this moment I’m feeling a confirmation and the self deprecation seems to be subsiding. I just want you to know that you are doing a great service to the world.
  • @petergadd7797
I am following your lead. I know I do everything wrong and have done my whole life... you inspired me. Thanks for that.

Andrew - this is some great work (journalism, presentation, beautiful video work, slick editing, animation, delivery, etc.). Wow. Funny, I also figured this out through a lot of trial and error but def didn't put together anything like this. Most of what you said I'm doing. I also dropped drinking alcohol. Pure game changer.
  • @hollydiehl4989
Definitely love it and would enjoy seeing more in a similar format. Thanks for all your videos!
  • @lewistaylor3491
Hey Andrew, another great video. You're killing it. I actually had a similar path in life to you (journalist then freelance web developer). Also have a life long battle against brain fog.. never heard of the iodine but will look into it. Have found for sleep melatonin + sleepcasts works amazingly well. Keep up the good work mate
  • @ModernRemade
I've had fantastic experiences with fasting but completely fell off the wagon. Geez, it's been so long. This was a great reminder to get back on that horse! Easy sub - thanks for the video 🙌🏻
  • I really related to you brother, as I've had basically the same exact thing for years and which ironically also started in high school. the most effective thing for me as well was fasting. Thank you for making this video !
  • @alfiedj
Nice delivery. Chilled, relaxed and informative. Subscribed! : )
  • Andrew, this all sounds excellent. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
