My 13 year old self started playing this game because her friends had told her it was a cute game. When she realized it wasn't, jokes on her friends cuz she loved it, and became part of the fandom. She had no idea her fnaf "phase" would still be alive years after.

just like william afton, my fnaf phase always comes back
  • @genesis1859
I am literally a 21 year old, I have no business in this fandom whatsoever but i feel this phase kicking in again.

I love how security breach just pulled everyone back into their FNAF phase and is trending insanely on the internet

FNAF was my first fandom experience. I still remember sitting in the corner of my room, looking up FNAF on youtube and being absolutely blown AWAY by the sheer amount of content people had created that was available for free. Fanart, comics, fansongs, it left me feeling like I'd just opened a whole new world of possibilities. I'd do anything to feel that again. It's been six years since then. I'm older, I've had countless experiences in dozens of fandom spaces, but FNAF still holds a dear place in my heart. This is my third FNAF phase, and to see it come back with such a boom of growth is so nice. My inner child is losing her mind :)
  • I used to be deathly afraid of the FNAF games, just the thought alone was enough to keep me up at night. I literally was afraid to take a shower by myself 🤡 I had full on nightmares and everything about this shit. Here I am now obsessing over all the games and keeping with the lore theories matpat makes 😼 the glow up 👊🥴

bro i’m actually crying real tears reading some of these comments. This community has always been so comforting, inspiring and imaginative and it’s so incredible seeing how this franchise has lifted so many people out of terrible situations to give them hope

I dont think anyone ever truly leaves this fandom. Five nights at freddy's was a huge part of our lives growing up for various different reasons and it will always live in our hearts.

I slowly started drifting away from FNaF and getting into anime, after Security Breach came out, I saw my old favorite youtubers playing it. I thought "Might as well see how it looks." Then I got into my FNaF phase again.

I'm so glad to be a fan of the Fnaf Franchise ever since the game got released. I remember jamming to all these song and singing it at school with my friends because we were all hardcore Fnaf fans. Thank you for having a part in my childhood, Scott Cawthon.

Reading the comments made me realize how niche or "cringe" media like FNAF, and Gaming content on YouTube in general, was really just a safe space for traumatized children to escape reality. It's cute how thankful everyone is for the escape.

I used to be scared shitless of the game, just seeing an image of the Bonnie jumpscare in the mobile app page gave me nightmares. Eventually FNAF 2 released and I decided to watch Matpat and Markiplier, albeit reluctantly. Little did I realize how immersed I would be with the lore and the games. I hadn't even realized how far I came until the hiatus after Pizzeria Simulator when I began to distance myself and entered other fandoms. Now that I'm back though, I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Its weird to think that fnaf has been with me for a… disturbingly large chunk of my life. I was 8 when the first game came out, I remember being really fascinated with the idea of “animatronics coming to life” that I had asked my mother to host a birthday party at a local restaurant with animatronics just because it gave me fnaf vibes. To this day, I’m still really interested in the series, and, with the forever expanding lore, theres always something new you can learn, which is why I think people stay interested in this series for a long time. Thanks for this playlist lololol

After knowing the whole FNAF timeline, the songs all make so much more sense.

Me parece tan pero tan increíble y hermoso que las personas que crecimos y casi casi nos criamos con el juego de Five Night's At Freddy,se fue convirtiendo en un lugar seguro de nuestra infancia.
  • @liftlikewolves
Jokes aside, “It’s Been So Long” by The Living Tombstone is genuinely just a great song. It’s musically and lyrically incredible, honestly. Even “Die in a Fire” by TLT is a great song, I can jam out to both. The beats slap and the lyrics are damn spot on.
  • @okoipop
I've re-entered one of the greatest phases of my life

i never 'liked' fnaf when i was younger, but it still a huge part of it. I knew so many random facts of this game that during quarantine i decided to properly look through it. it's pretty good
