Thank you for showing us all your lovely goodies. You are going to look so dapper in your new vest, tie and beautiful new spider brooch. I actually don't mind Halloween in July. Anytime I can stock up on everyday items with a spooky flair, I'm excited for it. I have a Victorian/Gothic Shabby Chic style of decor and have found pieces of good quality that I can leave out year round. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your family member's illness. I wish them a speedy recovery.

@Professor M, I'm sorry to hear about your family member's illness. Your Goth Halloween haul is gorgeous! I agree with the others on here, you'll look very distinguished and dapper in your new Victorian Goth attire. πŸ™‚ As for Halloween πŸŽƒ in July, the stores where I live began putting out Halloween decorations about late July/ early August. I bought up as many dark purple near black fake roses that my local dollar store had along with the very standard Gothic black roses too. People were giving me weird looks, but eh, it's how I decorate year-round. It's difficult to find fake black roses for under $7, yet alone a whole Bouquet πŸ’ for a dollar nowadays. I was amazed the store also had some light up fake long stem black roses, so I bought what they had. πŸ™‚ As for actual Halloween decor, none of it appealed to me, as a Goth because a lot of it really wasn't what I'm looking for. Dollar General sells some battery powered orange tea light candles for a dollar and they are bright. Not uncomfortable to gaze at and they lend a haunted, beautiful, ambience to light a single room after dark for about two hours. They require wrist watch-sized batteries when the originals fizzle out. I just wanted to pass this on to all Goths and Halloween aficionados out there. πŸ¦‡πŸ§›β€β™€οΈβ€πŸ₯°
  • I absolutely πŸ–€ everything you showed in this video…I have to purchase that book because I’ve been wanting to read about cemetery stones and the meanings of the symbols . Halloween in July has been a craze in the US for quite some time now and I absolutely πŸ–€it because it gives goths a chance to buy everyday decor and those of us obsessed with Halloween a chance to find incredible items πŸ•·
  • I thought you were still living in the US and the new top hat and the pocket watch look magnificent! I was happy to see the pocket watch in your 195 year old house video also if you’d like to get the top hat that I have it’s from Devils Fashion
  • Thank you for the haul Professor. They are so much fun to watch. If you like graveyards check out Loren Rhoads book 199 cemeteries to see before you die. It's a great coffe table book every goth should have.

Great video. Keep up your videos !! Hopefully you return and have more time. 🎸. Halloween πŸŽƒ in July led to the Ramones retrospective radio show.
  • What state in the U.S. were you staying in and where is it that you live now? By the way nice haul, love the cemetery book and the cool vest. πŸ₯°
