I was in the middle of a Meth addiction when I first first this. This song brought me to tears. In a treatment centre right now and going to be one month sober in 2 days ❤ Thank you Wayne

“I’m sorry for even apologizing.” Hits me like a ton of bricks. I hope my kids know their dad loves them and even on my worse days I’m trying.

I was homeless.. working... and depressed... Thank you Lil Wayne... This song made me understand... and it all worked out
  • my best friend since 4th grade was a massive Wayne fan. he was hella excited for C5. he was one of the most positive guys i knew. when it dropped, he always told me how this was his fav song on the album and how C5 was album of the year and all that. I disagreed and named a few songs & albums better. on october 15th, 2018 he killed himself. shot himself in the chest like Wayne did. will never know why he did it, but i listened to this song again and realized what i’ve been sleeping on. this shit touches my soul every single listen now. one of my fav songs of 2018. rip JD 🕊

Glad everyone agrees on this being 1. The best song ever 2. Inspirational 3. Best song in bad AND good times 4. 3rd verse is the most fire that fire ever fired 5. Hook is God-sent 6. "God came to my side and we talked about it, he sold me...... another life and he made a profit/prophet" is the hardest bar ever spit in the history of saliva! Thank You Wayne! Thank You!
  • 😔 y’all have no idea what this song did for me. My daughter lost her mom and I was damn near suicidal last year but I’m so focused. Back dedicated to my life and mostly my daughter.

  • I recently went through a really rough pregnancy and was stuck in the hospital for a month and a half , thats when i discovered this song. I suffered from prenatal depression due to all the issues i was having with my pregnancy and not knowing how things were going to go when i would deliver our little girl, i had her at 27 weeks, needless to say this song got me thru allot. She is now a month old and doing amaxing!!!

This song leaves me in tears every time. When he was talkin bout shooting himself and calling his auntie... I remember my suicide attempt and nobody was home I called my aunt said I love you and hung up and attempted just dropped. If my aunt wouldn’t have called the cops I wouldn’t be here today... she was in Kansas and called to Missouri where I live to save me... I hear this and always think of you aunt Casey. Rip, still can’t believe you’re gone. 😔

I found my momma's pistol where she always hide it I cry, put it to my head and thought about it Nobody was home to stop me, so I called my auntie Hung up, then put the gun up to my heart and pondered Too much was on my conscience to be smart about it Too torn apart about it, I aim where my heart was pounding I shot it, and I woke up with blood all around me It's mine, I didn't die, but as I was dying God came to my side and we talked about it He sold me another life and he made a prophet .. .. this has to be one of the greatest verses of all time

This song has helped me though my depression I have been in the foster system since I was 3 years old and I have been through a lot in some homes I was in. I really thought I wasn't going to make it out alive. I lived in a few group homes and I lived in a receiving center for a whole to months I finally found a home I feel good at. And I can say I survived and I am turning 14 at the end of August. I found this song about two years ago and every time I am feeling depressed of anxious I play this song and it helps because I know other people feel the same way I do. I love you all and I hope you all are doing good
