I know this one's about a relationship with a girl but the last car ride I took with my dad this happened to come on the radio while he's telling me how proud he is of me on how much knowledge I'd pick up from him since he was a mechanic. He died the next day so this song is very sentimental to me and I cherish it everytime I hear it on the radio! I love you dad and l can't wait to see you again once the good lord says it's time! The other day 12/23/2023 the good lord took my wife of 27 years, she was only 46. She was the love of my life, soulmate, partner, my other half, wife, mother and my best friend. I’m lost without her, I’m staying strong for our kids but I’m barely treading water. All the things that I now need to take care of is overwhelming, I now know to what extent she took care of our family. She was the best part of my work day, no matter how bad work was coming home to her hug and kiss made my day better. I really hope this song is correct, eventually we’ll see each other again and our love will still be as strong. Until then babes I love you with all my heart and soul, to the moon and back and around again for infinity.

This song really hit me. Maybe the words, maybe the way Luke sings it. I’m not an emotional person and I rarely shed a tear, but, for what ever reason, I think of my wife when I hear this and tear up. Thank you for this masterpiece.
