Casey Jones HO Scale

Published 2013-04-13
Well, I've finally found it! : ) This particular locomotive has been out of production for 40 years. It's a scale model of Illinois Central #382. To those unaware of the significance, it's the engine driven by engineer Casey Jones on the night of his death, 113 years ago. It's in mint condition, and runs smoothly (I'll upload a video of it running later on). I purchased this from whiteeagle_777 on ebay (and should you ever see this, thank you, I'll take good care of it. Thanks also for that tower and signal you threw in as well! : ] ).

Sorry, the lighting in my basement is crap. I put in a new light recently, so for my next layout update, you'll be able to see it better, I hope! : )
  • I remember watching this video many years ago wanting one of these models and now today I finally got one!
  • I have two of those locomotives but I altered one with dcc power and a kd cuppler the other is in perfect condition and has the original case

Quick tip - backlight + black locomotive = bad combination. Would have liked to have seen more detail.
