  • They do look the same. So thatā€™s impressive. Not to mention super delicious. But Iā€™m sure the Italians (or other cheffy folks like me) will now comment to say that neither is a risotto, because the texture is incorrect. A risotto should ā€œswim/flow on the plateā€. Namely, there needs to be more of the liquid/cream (created from the emulsification of the starch, stock, butter and parm)

    My rice cooker ā€¦. Cheap and nasty would just burn it , so Iā€™ll have to keep doing it on the stove top. Risotto is our Sunday night dinner
