This dude is the first guy to ever beat a MMO and doesn't even realize it.
  • @BizzMRK
Blizzard can't even milk their whales properly now? Imagine you make a game that is so pay2win that it literaly breaks the game.
  • @King_Konglish
You would think after 50k they’d give you a personal dev 😂
  • @failegion7828
Bro, man spent 100k. He paid enough to be an actual raid boss.
  • @Jourdan314
The crazy part about this to me is that even the creators of this obvious cash grab didn't anticipate somebody spending this much money and running into this particular problem. Bravo dude 👏

Reminds me of a similar story on the game Nonstop Knight. Devs estimated that no-one would ever reach the level xxx, and implemented a piece of code that if anyone reach that level, they must be a cheater and would get banned. Fast forward a year later, whales had been playing the game, and some started to reach level xxx... and getting banned. The issue was shortly fixed after.

The most expensive single gear in another Netease game is around 2 million dollars, if 100k can make you the strongest player in a game it's considered cheap in China.

He passed immortal status and became a God. Now he has to sit on his throne alone for all eternity.

Can we make 'beached' the official term for when a mega-spending player gets soft-locked out of game contenet? Trust Blizzard to even fail to even do greed right smh
  • @teamofone1219
The fact that Blizzard didn’t even expect anyone to spend 100k on the game is hilarious to me.
  • @ManOfParody
That is actually super satisfying to watch someone who spent such an ungodly amount to an abusive system, ALSO being abused.
  • @Finch08
"He got beached!" Best quote ever lmfao 😂😂
  • @Hyp3rSon1X
Easy fix: He just needs to create a second 100k Account and queue with himself!

That line. And the delivery. My god. “There’s an oil prince who’s gonna pay more than you’re ever gonna see in your fuckin life “
  • That dude is speaking surprisingly calm for a dude who has just wasted a ton of money and is getting screwed by blizzard.. Surprisingly calm.. That is admirable

"Hey boss, so we got this dumbass...." "IMMORTALS! We call them immortals Jeff."

He spent 2-4 full college tuition on a power fantasy. He spent 555 years of MMO subscriptions ($15 value) on some gear for one game. He spent 1,666 potential new games ($60 value) to be 'the best'. He spent so much on this that he can never play enough games to compensate. Math may be a little off but you get the idea.

The first ever man to Complete a F2P game. Truly a Legendary Accomplishment.

If they have a messy code or slow processes, a full feature implementation can take 2 months easily just to imlement. Not even mentioning the delay to wait for next update release. Now if the issue is just a simple bug you can fix it in a week and then wait for next release, potentially even backporting it to some fast moving branch to integrate it as fast as possible. So the 2 week is really optimistic scenario. And many people who do games say that game development is well known for rushing and all nighters before deadlines. And specially at blizard. So I wouldn't think they have a nice codebase and smooth processes.
