My weird, embarrassing phobia (Animation)

One phobia that I have that I consider a mild inconvenience is my fear of elevators. The idea of a box with no windows that could potentially malfunction at any moment, trapping me inside is terrifying. Therefore whenever I visit a public building, I always take the stairs regardless of how many flights it'll take to get to my designated floor. Funny thing is I used to not have it.

Once there was a dead yellow jacket under a basket in my room, it was dead (we think one of my cats killed it) but it terrified me, cause it was a a “bee”. Bugs creep me out, and if they are dead they still creep me out so maybe I have this phobia no clue

I once found I spider without a web (I was younger back then) and I was like: oh that's so sad, let's give him a new web!. So I picked him up to give that lil' spider a new web and found a huge web for him. I placed the spider in there and I was so happy and felt like I was a sort of hero. And the a HUGE spider jumped in front of my face and swallowed him slowly while I watched. RIP lil' spider.

I have a weird phobia of staircases, it's not that bad though, it's just whenever I go up or down them it makes me a little nervous but it does go away

I have a phobia of cars. Mostly driving, but being in them in general is still not pleasant. The issue is that no one I know is willing to accept that it’s actually a thing and just kept telling me that it will get better and everyone goes through that fear of driving at first. Well, it hasn’t stopped yet and it isn’t about to so… yeah. In the US of A it’s pretty much mandatory for everyone to drive so I can’t avoid it completely, and I’ve considered moving to a different country just to avoid having to drive all the time.

I have submechanophobia, which is just the fear of man-made objects, but underwater. Recently i've been to Disneyland, and saw the Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage ride in a corner and decided it would be pretty thrilling because of the phobia mentioned before. Once i got into the ride, i kind of liked it.. But then, while searching about more info on the ride, I came across the original Submarine Voyage, and if i got onto it it would've been HELL. Especially the giant squid scene.

I basically have a phobia of any insects at all, like no matter where they are, what kind of bug they are, what they're doing, if they can hurt me, if they're dead, etc. If I see a bug nearby, I will get away as fast as I can.

As someone who is deathly afraid of Crane Flies, dead or alive, that ending sent actual chills down my spine and I wish I were joking

Ok so. necrophobia is the fear of dead things. entomophobia is the fear of bugs. maybe its called 'necrentomophobia'

I have a phobia of EVERY TYPE OF INSECT (including dead ones) but I just like looking at them but when they get into my space bubble I hide in a corner and try to get it away
