Description:
A 2 second improvement over the previous record by Dsparil.
Not even close to being as good as my legacy timing (E3M1-E3M7) record, which is one of my best runs ever. Only difference in the route is getting the BFG on E3M3. Grabbing the BFG takes 2-3 seconds extra at most and saves maybe a second outside of E3M8, so a time of 3m43s or 3m44s would match it.
E3M1: Gotten quite good at the shotgun linedef skip so it's not too bad. The pinkies is of course pure luck, but even that isn't too bad, most of the time I'll get by with 3 shells left. Lower than 30 seconds is quite rare.
E3M2: Would have to be very clean to get 14 seconds here, don't think I've ever pulled that off before, 15.66 is quite good.
E3M3: Got blocked by the pinky and I didn't strafe far enough past the wall at the end which cost me quite a bit of time, was good otherwise.
E3M4: Pure luck with the pinky at the start, this time I got unlucky. The ending could have been a lot better so overall not great, but not terrible.
E3M5: Used to play this map quite a bit when I did 23 seconds which uses a linedef skip, so 25 seconds is usually what I get.
E3M6: BFG makes this much easier.
E3M7: Unlucky with the linedef skip and lost soul at the end, already lost a record run earlier to getting blocked really badly to that.
E3M8: Always get 8 seconds here unless something goes really wrong.
