This week, we continue to open amazing gifts, including Spode, beautiful artworks and several soaps!!

In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. YouTube earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.

It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

If you would like to see more of our life at the chateau, please go to our main 'Chateau Diaries' channel:

@stephaniejarvis Your laughter is a delight. I saw you ( actually heard you first!) at King Arthur when you visited Mason in Vermont. You were looking at the bunny baking dish. I did not know Chateau Diaries at that time , so I did not know who you were then. I heard a wonderful laughter and looked to see who it was from. It was from you!! I so wish I'd been brave and introduced myself! Always be you♥️

Amazing gifts. That pizza cutter is a mezaluna, I love them. Used one everyday at work for 11 years. What a great complete gift.
  • The small metal pizza peel is for turning the pizza in the oven to get an even cook, but could also be used for boules of bread, if you want to bake loaves in the pizza oven

I'm so happy to hear you're supporting the Red Cross in Ukraine. I also loved the pink bag that you liked Stephanie.
  • @juliadouglas872
There are so many talented people who are La Lande “family.”
  • I think the pizza oven items could be put in the room where the pizza oven is😊 Why Stephanie receives all of the gifts is because she is genuinely pleased & happy regardless of what it is & there is no faking her joy or expectations! Very unique & not seen very often by society
  • @lunalouhoo
The three of you are just a joy to watch. Each has their own insights and enthusiasm to add to the excitment. I get such a warm feeling from the love and care the people have to select such thoughtful gifts.

Linda's bags were pretty and handy. The patterns Melanie sent would be useful as well. Phillip's new outfit is stunning.

Stephanie a little DIY trick on frames. Go to a flea market or charity stores. Look at all the different frames ot necessarily what print is inside. Go to a hardware store buy spray paint in a can what ever color you like gold or silver etc. Go back home break down the frame, card board, paper, pictures etc. Lay down some news paper place frame on top start spraying wait for your frame to dry, repeat coats if necessary. Then when dry resemble with your favorite picture, painting, matting around picture etc. There you go cheap way to buy frames and make them look more expensive. I spray paint baskets as well with paint and use them for gifts.
