Join us in this video as we go over how to get from the Istanbul Airport to the city center. This is something all visitors have to figure out when they arrive here in Istanbul so we're going to do our best to prepare you for your arrival!
But instead of just telling you about the options, we have a little bit of a competition. One of us takes the luxury route in a private car, while the other takes the budget route using the metro.
How hard is it to navigate the metro from the airport? Is it worth the extra $$ to book a private transfer? Let's find out!

The Havaist Airport Shuttle buses operate on a regular fixed route to around 40 destinations in the city. For more information on the routes, timetables, and pricing, you can visit their website:

Not having built the metro station inside the terminal building, or at least adjacent to it was a big planning oversight.

I guess this was more to promote the private pick up service than explaining the various options.Should have explained how to get the Istanbul card, cost break down of metro and tram, price of Havarista bus
