Fun fact: when spu7nix uploaded the levels to the servers it crashed the ENTIRE servers for a while.

The thing is, we don't have any way to gradually scale objects yet, so most of the animations in the level were made frame-by-frame

Yes “WHAT” was made in Geometry Dash 2.1 without mods however, Spu7nix is one of the creators into programming and the technical end of the community so he’s made some really unique and interesting levels that push limits of the editor. He even made a programming language called SPWN to add abstraction to allow making complex things, like the level what, with triggers easier.

Geometry Dash shifted from 2D to 3d is like giving Minecraft an RTX treatment on an old computer. For a level that is THIS big on mobile, it takes a lot of risk, but the cinematic quality is impressive nonetheless.

To put into persoective why this took so long: to create this 3d effect spu7nix had to frame by frame animate a lot of the parts in the level and I think he also used external programms and a programming language (which he also made himself in Gd) to create the 3d movements

Fun fact. Due to the way, the level was made originally you’re completely decked out up-to-date $10,000 PC would not be able to play the app but a old iPhone from 2012 would play perfectly fine… I believe the creator has sense fixed this problem but really makes you wonder
