I took seven ant colonies and placed them into a single arena. The results of this ant introduction experiment was shocking! I didn't know what to do next. Ant love forever! This video was shot in 4K Ultra HD resolution.

I don't know what is more unbelievable: The fact that I spent half an hour watching ants or the fact that it was more entertaining than most the movies I watched in the last couple of years.
  • @grim5237
Man I dont care about "ant cruelty", what I care about is how calm you are about ants running around your house
  • @drq888
aliens be watching us the same way we watching these ants

Im pretty sure that the first scout filled the arena with its scent. Thats usually a good idea if you want to bring foreign animals together - use neutral space for meeting the first time. Since ants are pretty much always marking their territory it would have been a good idea to let them all in the arena at the same time.

Colony 1 is the player that unlocks everything in day one of new DLC.

Never have I ever felt so invested in ants than when scout 6 from colony one got captured
  • @kraddonn
I have a theory as to why the other colonies are so shy. You introduced the first colony way before the others and the first had time to send out scouts too which likely filled the space with foreign smells and that is probably why the other colonies are being so very cautious.

Weaver ants "All queen ants are queen" Fire ants: "If she breathe… SHE IS A THOOOOOOOOT!"
  • @aleafar6295
This guy: "After two months I got attached to these colonies" Also this guy two minutes later "Some of you may die, but that's a sacrifice I am willing to make"
  • @TheAlanSims
I was honestly on the edge of my seat wondering if the colony 1 scout was gonna make it out. My dude pulled through! Great video.
  • @ttercheng
Since all the colonies are too weak, they would not bother risking taking over other colonies, thus showing no serious aggression. Thus, this is the best time to keep the existing setting so they have time to form ally instead of war.
  • I never thought I would get this much attached to an ant. Sixth scout, your safe return made me happy. 🙂
  • I really can’t get over the fact that this dude seems 100% fine with ants literally tearing his house apart but by bit
  • @mc_cubing3639
I love how this guy makes antkeeping more like a documentary
  • @adamsolophie
