  • The host made so many good questions, even they were surprised and seemed excited to answer. I'm tired of the same interviews with same questions, this is a good interview. They did their research job!

They’re literally musical geniuses, such a talented sibling duo!
  • Good questions, I like that he referenced previous interviews and moved on rather the same questions again.

7:06 Finneas is 100% right: Billie's super power is in fact her ability to convey emotions through her vocal performance. It never feels artificial or made up, but always so genuine and vulnerable. As a vocalist, she gives me Thom York vibes. Maybe Billie's voice is not as potent yet but definitely as deadly as Thom's. The fact that both Billie's and Radiohead's music are so cinematographic in their own way is also a clear parallel to me. Many people have said this before, but this song really feels like sitting in a room, just you and billie while she sings to you. And what a great interviewer!

“I don’t want to be in anyone’s face but I want to be the voice of whoever is quiet in the corner, so hopefully I can translate for people who don’t want to speak up” As a person who’s afraid to speak up and share how I’m feeling, hearing Billie say that really brought me to tears. Billie is the one and only artist that really makes me feel like I’m not alone, she’s like that friend that understands and comforts you when your going through tough times. Her songs are like virtual hugs being givin to me, and I appreciate that so much. I am so excited for her Oscar’s performance ❤️

I love this interviewer!! such thoughtful and well crafted questions, i know they were SICK of the same old questions 😭 love billie and finneas so much <3

This was one of the best interviews! Great questions and not just focused on Billie. Finneas had his spotlight moment too :)

The thought process that Billie and Finneas go through when they explain how they made the songs, really shows that they see themselves as artists, not stars or simply a singer. They don’t care about whether the songs become a hit or not, they just care about whether the song fits their unique aesthetics and whether it is a good piece of artwork for whatever occasion or purpose that the song needs to be in. That’s why I love them so much!

Wonderful interview. It really shows that the interviewer was well informed and asked good questions. Thanks for that

I’m here due to a work colleague asking me if I like Billie Eilish’s music?! I responded “I’ve never heard of him. What’s his music like!?” She just laughed 😂 Now I see why! ♥️

Wonderful interview! I love how both Billie and Finneas light up when they encounter an engaged, intelligent interviewer who has made the effort AND has an enthusiasm to match their own. Someone who really wants to hear about the creative details rather than just vacuous ‘fluff’ that has little to do with how their music is so brilliantly crafted. This is their ART, and even though great artists often make brilliant, powerful works appear effortless, it pretty much never is. Successful art requires *work*, focused creativity. That’s what fills me with awe when I listen to their songs; on every subsequent re-listen, there’s almost always another subtle detail or layer to be discovered. I never grow bored of it, it never becomes stale. THAT is pure genius ❤️❤️❤️

Nice one, Mark Olsen! Kudos for rising to the challenge of being outside your comfort zone and doing some excellent background research in order to ask / weave some great questions into the conversation. A real treat of an interview with two of the brightest and most beautifully real people making art (and the world a better place) these days.
  • "I did a photoshoot for....something that's....co-ming...." THE ALBUM?
  • @honestaries
I love this interviewer and whoever was responsible for preparing these questions!!! They asked so many questions that I never thought I needed. We can see Billie also appreciated it so much that she finally gets inspired by the interviewer to introduce their song in a different way to us! And didn’t need to tell the same answer over and over again lol
  • @horsehollerer
I'm only halfway through but these are some wonderful questions. Alll three of them are on top form. Fabulous interview, thanks!

5:00 reminds me of the song Yesterday by Paul McCartney and how his lyrics could be interpreted to be about his mother and was asked about it in an interview
  • @LucasEilish
They work so well together my forever loves
