"whats making you cry?" sniff "nothing..."
  • I can recall a rather recent interview of Louis where he talked about the 4th movement of Mahler's 5th Symphony being one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. I didn't know that symphony, so I gave it a listen and boy, the 4th movement indeed pierces right through your soul. And once you have listened to it, you can feel it shine through "nothing". Same kind of awestruck nothingness. Thanks Louis. Your music has helped me beyond words, and I know I am not the only one out here thinking that. nothing is a masterpiece.
  • Nothing, just a heart-wrenchingly beautiful homage to Mahler from one of the most talented musicians of the 21st century. Playing this piece was very, very special.

I have "Everything", "Things", "Night", "Let It Happen" and "Nothing" on constant replay and I am slowly converging on the meaning of life. Thank you for your talent, beauty and wisdom, Louis.

Doesn't matter if he's in a port a potty or a concert hall. Dude just has it!

Louis Cole would've been a world famous composer had he been born 300 years ago

That shot of Genevieve eyes closed just experiencing the music made me feel overcome with calmness for some reason.

This is Louis Cole becoming a musician for the generations. What a delightful and timeless piece.
  • I've had such a busy frantic day and I just stopped for a minute and listened to this and time stood still.
  • From playin in the back of a van throughout the San Fernando Valley to this. 🤌👌

Louis, never stop making music please, you're THE GOAT
  • Louis Cole has made and continues to make history in music with his unparalleled talent for conveying sensitivity. An artist I would call a genius, someone who will be remembered for a long time... This symphony gave me chills...
  • tons of academic composers over there but here I am, listening to this absolute masterpiece entirely written by an LA drummer and the tears are standing in my eyes

    Can't wait to hear nothing.
  • Two nights in a row listening to this and being brought to tears, and I want to do it again. Eyes closed, senses heightened, all focused on the sound. Amazing.
  • Thanks for writing a song about the thing that'll stop us from listening to Louis Cole

Love that shot of Louis at 2:56, I wonder how he's feeling at this moment.
