You can really see how emotional Kirk gets when talking about Cliff! every time you can hear the love in his voice and the conflicting sadness on his face. I think there's a part of him that feels responsible for cliffs death due to switching bunks that he'll just never get over and it feels like you can really sense in when he speaks about him.

This is probably the most down to earth interview Metallica has ever given. 5 stars to the interviewer for asking questions I’m sure they’ve never been faced with answer before and not even in a negative it just shined light on a new perspective from within the band and their mindsets of today’s culture and the youthfulness in todays fan base.

Seeing James face when Kirk was talking about Cliff..... you can see the sadness in his eyes. Just reminiscing about things. I lost a friend a few years ago and I've done that too

I think this interview went so well because James didn't have Lars constantly trying to one up him or just ramble on as he tends to do. Kirk is always an open book and emotional and I dig that. Keep on keeping on Tallica!

Makes me sad. You can tell Kirk genuinely wishes that more people could be exposed to his friend Cliff. It’s heartbreaking, really.
