The homeowner lives with her dad who has major health issues. She's an RN working 14 hour shifts and just has no time or energy to keep up this property. You can see it's been a LONG time since the weeds have been pulled or trimmed in any way. Dandelions taller than me, and I'm 6'4".

This is "Part 1" of what might end up being a 3-part series due to how much work has to be done. I probably could have breezed through it like a lot of guys do but I want it to be done right, so I take my time and do it right.

    Great job cleaning up. I do want to just toss this idea out there. To rejuvenate shrubs that are very old, taking out one third of the OLDEST wood, at the base, each year for three years will get the shrub in to a much more manageable, and healthy, condition. When I bought my current home, in Iowa, it had two lilacs that were probably a hundred years old. They didn't bloom much at all. Over three years, I cut out all the old wood, and now they are full of blooms. They are also much shorter, so I can smell the blooms more, and pick them easier! Just an idea for you to think about. It looks great and I look forward to seeing the rest of it!

    Man, I don’t think I’ve ever seen dandelions as tall as a full grown man!! 😅 I also can’t believe that you’re still limber enough to get down and up off the ground in sitting down and kneeling down and so on and so forth. 😮 Awesome work!
