I just purchased this file. I love the way it looks. Currently printing it on my CR-10S. I cant wait to start the painting process on it.

This was an awesome video. Thank you for sharing your process with us.👍
  • Looks great! I just finished printing the main body of my helmet and am getting ready to make the greeblies, seeing it all piece together is so satisfying.

Awesome stuff dude! I have my Great Apes helmet on the printer right now, so this video will really help me out

Awesome build! Looks like the actual one 1:1. What paint did you use to accent the ears and the back vent?

can you help with how you set up your Cura files? I bought GreatApes Mando Helmet as well, and he pointed me to Your video. Loved your set up, when I first did my set up it said it was going to take MANY MANY DAYS not 4. I am also new to 3D printing so I am not sure how tree supports work and why your No Support Section is on the TOP of the helmet. Also do you know how much Filament you used?
  • Which 3d printer would you recommend for smaller Star Wars props like lightsaber hilts and blasters? Im currently looking at the Ender 3 v2
  • @WolfoBoi546
Which duplicolor gloss black did you use? Do you maybe have a link or serial number or something?
  • @MandaLorin
How long do wait for the primer to cure?
  • @vancevance9150
What's wrong with your support settings - you could have easily used that amount of filament for a 50% infill print. I printed the whole thing without any support at all. By the way you may want to use PETG next time so your helmet does not explode into pieces once dropped.
