Israel-Hamas war: Netanyahu worried Kamala Harris remarks could hurt Gaza deal | LiveNOW from FOX

Publicado 2024-07-26
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly upset and concerned about comments made during a statement by Vice President Kamala Harris after the two met in Washington DC on Thursday.

The Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post report via an Israeli official that there is concern her comments, which urged Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza, could potentially put a ceasefire and hostage release deal in jeopardy.

After a 40-minute meeting with Bibi, Harris spoke for about six minutes to members of the news media, where she expressed that Israel has a right to defend itself and condemned the Hamas terror attack, as well as the kidnapping of hostages, more than 100 of which remain in captivity.

During her remarks, Harris also said she would not stay silent on the deaths and suffering in Gaza amid the war, which is approaching the ten month mark.

The Gaza war began after the Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and taking approximately 250 people hostage.

LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow spoke with Benjamin Anthony, the founder of MirYam Institute about the latest developments in the Middle East.

Does either side of the conflict even want a peace deal at this point? My heart goes out to the innocent children and hostages caught in this chaos. 🥺🤍🕊

Wonderful video. So many points of interest addressed. BTW the protesters were also burning the American flag - that says a lot about future decision makers of our great country. A stop needs to be put to that immediately

I'll be running for President of the United States. We have states. States should be united. All those states, that are united, have a President. A President to preside over the states that are united.

Prayers for world peace. 🙏everyone needs to get along and stop trying to steal away each other's lands and countries from each other they should work things out and respect each other's ways of life and respect each other's countries and then learn how to work things out more peacefully.
