Today at Speedy's Garage we upgrade the instrument cluster in our Dodge Challenger to a modern, yet classic, look and add LED illuminated needles in the process. One of the best mods I've made to Orange Krush.

I love it when people take their time and do the job right this first time. This is an amazing, in-depth, and informative install. I love your videos!
  • @Jelsick
I prefer the white gauges on my SRT8, but your upgrade looks great. Very thorough instructions as well.

Those look really good. The black background reminds me of how the 05-09 Mustangs came from the factory. This is such a nice upgrade to the 09-14’ Challengers.
  • I like how all these guys have asked where the gauges came from with no responses lol
  • @mikeakaspike
Man, that cardboard idea is genius! I'm stealing that!
  • @milkman16
I know you don't need another person telling you this but that was a very detailed and informative video. I loved it! Great job and keep posting more videos
  • @chucknostaw2819
Very cool. The needles look like they are on fire. Like when a blacksmith is heating up a piece of metal. Good job.

Awesome how-to videos, keep up the great work Speedy, I always watch these as references for my charger, thanks for the extra details when making the videos

great very informative video with a little bit of humor/attitude... caught the slip where you said 1/2 inch referring to gas gauge 1/2 full mark...Loved the screw in the labeled cardboard idea for project generating many removed fasteners... I heard you reference "Black Cat" one time like maybe that's where the lighting kit came from. Enjoyed...Thanks

Thank you for sharing the detailed video on the Dodge Instrument upgrade. I have been seeking to the same on my 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I love the red color lightening.
  • @SQLRYAN
Great detailed video. Love the way you work, get it done right.
  • @ronwalsh
Great video. I just ordered a replacement instrument set so I can upgrade to the EVIC. I think before I install this I am going to have to do this mod to the gauges. Thanks for posting.
  • I like those gauges they look good I'm thinking about getting some and spraying my needles with glow in the dark paint until I saw you switch those out for the illuminated needles that was a good idea
  • @bigjoe1305
I cant thank you enough for this video. I just installed them in my 2014 Challenger Shaker and your video was a godsend. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best mod to date!
  • @monty3927
That turned out great. I love that red. I want to do this to do this to my srt8
  • @lutztech
Mine are all black and I actually want to get them changed to white. I want the ones that are in the 2017 Challenger T/A. Some day I'll get it done.
  • @kevinlapis6720
I really love the upgrade, especially the retro look is awesome. What make and part number would be for the one you have? Thanks!!!
  • They look awesome! Amazing job. I’m not sure on day light if it’s nice and clear. Overall they do look great. I wish the white numbers would turn ON with the headlights OFF. Once you turn them ON then the whole thing would turn ON, the numbers and the red part.
