You know it´s a good game when, despite it´s many MANY bugs, it still makes You want to play it.

I find that being able to get a cyborg dog from a group of elvis impersonators is evidence of how good the game is

Fun fact about Cazadors: their jittery, erratic movements were the result of a bug. They were originally going to fly around and walk slowly when on the ground. Josh Sawyer saw their animations glitch out, resulting in the twitchy movements, and said "Hey, that's terrifying. Make them move like that intentionally."

My brother passed away a few years ago. When I was around 10 I saw my brother play new vegas and used to watch him for hours all the time. Some of my best memories as a child.

weird how nobody remembers that Oliver is a real guy from Obsidian's forums that won a contest and had his likeness put into the game as reward.
  • @bluedreemurr9515
Fun fact: Outside the legion, everyone pronounces Caesar’s name wrong. It’s actually pronounced “Kai-zar”

JUST 18 MONTHS OF DEVELOPMENT. Just think about that. All these quests weaved together to immerse you with consequences and player impact on the world. Incredible

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and lemme tell you when this came out I was so happy with the little touches they get right. They did an excellent job paying homage to real places and events. The crashed bomber in lake mead? A famous diving spot! The mormon fort? Been there! Quarry Junction? That's where I go shooting targets (thankfully no deathclaws) Even the voice of Mr. New Vegas is one I grew up with hearing. Wayne Newton's face and voice was all over town!

dang you missed out on my favorite line by House, if you kill president kimball while doing the faction quests for him he asks for a reason why and you can tell him cause kimball wanted to make you pay taxes. "Understandable" as Mr House says
  • @GeorgeCowsert
The fact that they give you alternate dialogue for low INT runs was completely unnecessary, and I adore it.

I HAD NO IDEA YOU COULD RECRUIT VICTOR FOR GHOST TOWN GUNFIGHT

One thing I like about New Vegas is coming out of Fallout 3 it showcases how different society is on the West Coast compared to the East Coast

17:45 One of my favorite details about New Vegas is that a disproportionate amount of black-armor NCR Rangers are ghouls because their heartiness more often allowed them to survive long enough to reach that rank.
  • @TheTolnoc
I was blown away when I ran into Boxcars for the first time and he called me 'The Reaper of the NCR' and offered to overdose on the spot out of fear. That's a hell of a reputation.
  • @GMoneyChuck89
The moment I truly fell in love with this game was when I realized I didn't have to side with any of the factions in the end. This is my desert. My Nevada. My New Vegas.
  • Can we all agree that the voice actor for Veronica when she gets her dress does the voice justice for sounding how excited a real girl would be for getting a dress
  • @flowerh5018
Vulpes voice actor nailed it. Even though he doesn't have that big of a role, he's so monotone but so full of creep. I think corpse best describes that emotion, good point on that
  • @reggieazem4143
Dam, rest in peace Mr Matthew Perry. The Man in the Checker Suit, Benny.
  • @Meow-hj4td
Fun fact about the bar in boulder city, if you are wearing an NCR uniform and you don't have good NCR reputation, that store owner will tell you that NCR is not allowed to be in the bar, and you will get a dialogue that basically says, "I'm not actually in the NCR" (I don't remember the exact verbiage.
