The biggest conflict in the wasteland is undoubtedly the multi year struggle between the burgeoning NCR, and savage Legion, dueling for the fate of the gem of the Mojave -- New Vegas, and its power house -- Hoover Dam. We look at the conflict, map the entirety of it and all the events that lead up to the start of the game, and then examine what an absolute victory scenario looks like for both the NCR and the Legion.

Ave!! Thank you so much for having me RadKing! It was a pleasure to put this video of epic proportions together with you!
  • @CaptainForsyth
I see fans are swearing their loyalty to either NCR or the Legion When everyone knows the best faction in fallout is the Republic of Dave.
  • “The Bear and The Bull, The Bull and The Bear”. -90% of Ulysses dialogue.

A geopolitics video that doesn't inspire existential dread? Yes please!
  • @pugthemaster8
This. This right here, is why New Vegas is the best fallout game. Every camp, every location, every faction, has importance and thought put behind them, making such an in-depth feeling world
  • Now do a video on the lore behind the shirtless oiled battle between Todd Howard and Josh Sawyer at the Frontier mod developer's house.

Neocypher has a perfect cadence for a legion representative.
  • Possibly the greatest war ever in the Wasteland's history. "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter."

I love the idea that somehow Primm Slimm keeps the NCR out of Primm.
  • I love the duel perspective approach to this analysis: it really fleshes out both possible endings in a way I haven't fully seen since I last played the game. And really shows just how much the Courier's actions and all possible alliances have on the outcome.

Man, mapping out the Mojave must’ve made you wish for a nuclear winter

'Shady sands' sounds like a nice spot to lay down that I'd promise to my dogs. Like, "c'mere buddy, how's bout you lay down in the shady saaands? There ya' go. That's a good boy" You can't tell me that disgruntled workers over the years never referenced the place as 'shitty sands'. I subconsciously hear it almost every time someone talks about the place! My headcanon includes 'shitty sands' as a lore-accurate slur for the place

You have to admit, NCR really shot themselves in the foot thinking the Legion wouldn't try again with a slower method. Years to prepare yet here they are waiting for a miracle, that being Courier 6

Amazing work RadKing and NeoCypher, well thought out and reasonable. Bravo

Have yet to watch the video but I do hope it covers one topic that is rarely touched. Namely, Legion's logistics. After all, they have: relatively lightly populated territory, no civillian administration to extract resources from said population, no or very light tax burden on the surviving people and no higher tech supply delivery method like rail, meaning they are subject to the wagon equatuon. Yet they somehow manage to establish and maintain a large permanent base for about a year in the middle of a desert. Quoth Benny: "How in the goddamn?"

For anyone who sees this I genuinely recomend Neocypher's stuff, he gets into the RP but isnt cringe about it. Also im so glad youre covering the Mojave conflict here! Always thought itd be cool to see in this series.
