Apologies for audio issues! First video ever. Didn’t even cross my mind to throw headphones on and listen before posting #noob

  • @theshowbiz5
their pride and ego to be like nba players is what's killing the wnba
  • @sexylazercatwizard
The ego on these ladies are to strong, so entitled and it makes them very unlikeable.
  • @toddk946
Why do they accept a smaller ball, but not a lower rim?
  • @playerone3885
WNBA salaries are “not good”? If your company is losing $10mil a year be happy you even have a job.
  • @SneakerLovers
So they don’t want the rim lowered because they want to be equal but yet they have a smaller ball. No one talks about that. Makes no sense
  • @Bloodyslayer73
Either with the rim higher or lower, I am not going to watch WNBA. Period.
  • @chrismauck4083
If you lowered the rim to 9’8” at a WNBA facility prior to preseason training camp I imagine it would take many days before any of them noticed.
  • @gokuswanson2037
Considering how much money the WNBA is losing the salaries are absolutely incredibly good

Had an eye-opening experience with Abie Olajuwon. I was on a flight to Seattle and noticed what I thought was a college basketball team. I inquired of the woman next to me who I had no idea was a Connecticut Sun assistant coach. I never heard of the Sun or even knew one of my favorite ballers all-time Hakeem even had a daughter named Abie. Abie said 'We are the Sun on our way to our next game.' She boasted about beating the LA Sparks and seemed quite full of herself. I googled them. I said 'Wow, I am getting that feeling I got when I sat near the floor within 10 feet of Kobe Bryant.' Abie became snooty and said ' hardly, he wasn't nice and had character problems.' I was shocked she would say this. I used my Obama learned skills and remained calm and respectful but it was difficult. The rank ignorant cluelessness in not understanding or possibly caring you are an ambassador for the ratings starved, fan starved, money starved WNBA throwing shade at one of the greatest ballers ever is terrible for the league of beggers. Kobe whose hard earned popularity as well as her father and other NBA ballers allows the NBA to keep the Woman's Snoozefest Association known as the WSFA afloat. When a possible fan who would have followed the Suns and spread the word is trying to compliment you personally and the WNBA you throw shade on a great family man who invested his time with his daughters and supported woman's basketball is weird and a holier than thou sense of entitlement. Look in the mirror. I could throw a large rock here but I don't attack great ballers apparently try hard wannabe in and out quick of the leaguers do.

I still want to see a game between the WNBA champions and a high school boys state championship team. The women would be embarrassed.

Im a woman who grew up playing and watching basketball. When the WNBA was introduced I was excited, it was great. Admittedly, once my favorite players retired or moved on I stopped watching. I recently tried to get back into it and was disappointed. I can't remember the last time I seen so many missed shots., keep in mind the majority of them were layups. Honestly, it was like a high school game between 2 terrible teams. One girl was just jacking up shots each one less smart than the last. And she's regarded as one of the best in todays game 🤨 I don't know what happened or why the play is so terrible, but something needs to change. Maybe recruiting, coaching, I dunno. But it's sad.

I got this from watching Bill Burr WNBA jokes - "I'm pissed. I had 2 WNBA tickets in my car today, someone broke into it and now I have 4 WNBA tickets! Couldn't stop laughing!
  • @saintjohn3722
As a business, if you refuse to show cadence to your market, you will be out of business. PERIOD!
  • @Timmy-en7qv
WNBA should break off from the NBA and stand on their own two feet. Then they can split their profits and pay themselves how they choose.
  • @IndepenisDay
They have no problem asking for a straight handout but think asking for a lower rim is appeasement. Absolutely rich
  • @BeefHamMan
When I was a sophomore our team was garbage and as a “punishment” they had us play a scrimmage against the varsity girls who were state finalists the year before. We absolutely embarrassed them. Within a couple minutes we were told that we couldn’t jump or contest their shots. Even with those rules, we kept smoking them, the game got called off, and we had to run sprints for it

I was a collegiate player, and I also played outside during hoop it up or 3 on 3 tourna!nets came up. I adjusted to the higher rim, to only see that when I went back indoor or to ten feet, the 10 foot rim seemed easier, free throws were lay ups, and 3's were free throws. It was an advantage. So even training ing on 10 foot then back to 9 foot seems to me to give an advantage to the argument that they grow up on 10 foot rims.
