A huge thank you to all of you who have donated, the response has been incredible. Please note that the conflict in the region of Kharkiv has stopped at the time of writing this comment fortunately. "I used to drop him to the kindergarten and now I drop him to the front line" This sentence shook me to the core. It must be painful to see your son walk away and go to war to defend their country. I have seen through several videos, especially on this channel, that Ukrainian people are strong and resilient people. I wish I could visit Ukraine in the future, once the war ends. Peace and glory to Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!
  • As a Ukrainian I would like to thank you for being brave enough to enter my city of Kharkiv. I never thought that a day like that could occur that the war is over there but it came. I have evacuated to Košice in Slovakia so I am fine and good now! (In Košice I have a dream home there)

I really appreciate what you’re doing here, showing your huge audience what tragedies are happening in Ukraine. But I just can’t watch it, it breaks my heart. I’ve been to Ukraine countless times and I love that place. Please keep doing what you’re doing and stay awesome!

As being a Russian, I want to say that your channel is a reliable source of information for me, because almost all independent media have been shut down due to the government is trying to convince people that they are doing good things, for example, fighting Nazism, but I don't believe them. So, I know that Ukraine suffers from the country in which I grew up, I have lost confidence in it, and I want all my family members to understand that we are being lied about this horrific situation. Although It is hard to believe that I’ve seen, I go on following you. Be careful and peace to all the Ukrainian people
  • This needs to be shown in mainstream channels so people can really understand what is happening rather than a two minute news clip before the sports is shown. Keep up the great work and please stay safe.

As someone who visited Ukraine a few times, I just can't imagine this peaceful place as a war zone. It's unimaginable.

I have been sharing your video with friends who just returned to their home in Kharkiv so that they may have an idea of where it might be dangerous in town or what buildings are damaged. They say it has been helpful, I just thought you might want to know that you are helping people with this information.
  • With New Home, Vlad meant that he lives in the new suburb where all the new multi-storey buildings were built. They call it "Novo Stroiki". The food, they got confused cause you asked what they eat, but instead they understood it as what does that cat eat.

Mate, don't change your interviewing style very refreshing to see you interacting with the victims of this crazy war with geniuine empathy, compassion and good old fashioned manners.
  • @jackie1949
it's so devastating and sad, but at the same time fascinating how resilient and strong these people are. great reporting and video btw you earned a sub!
  • Thank you for all your hard work as a journalist and especially for your compassion, understanding and respect for ukranians. Love from Kharkiv! ♥️
  • @DjAdam16
This breaks my heart so bad. Seeing the family living in the metro with the cats and friends. I just hope everybody stays safe. I donated a little bit to support.
  • Hello from Dnipro, Ukraine! Thank you for your job! Be save🙌
  • @saskhiker3935
Amazing people have lost everything and are under constant threat and they still bring you gifts of flowers and chocolate. What incredible people. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
  • Ukraine has such a beautiful city and beautiful people. This war should never had happened!
  • @qrdnk
If the flowers could talk, they would cry, I guess. Take care, Nick, thanks for this!
  • Sir you have my absolute respect. I have been to a war zone as well, because I was a soldier. You my friend have, as they say, giant brass ⚽️ 🏀.
  • @srirachapasha
The sight of the Adidas shop just sent shivers down my spine. Crazy stuff. Stay safe Nick!
