One of the most disgusting things about politics in this day and age is the fact that genocide is always committed at the hands of officials claiming to be doing it to prevent genocide.

Looking back and now knowing that 40 mile long columns of tanks mostly broke down or was destroyed is crazy

Watching this 11 months past the start of the invasion, brings tears to my eyes. The path we went through this months and courage of Ukrainians make me proud to be part of this nation and it's resistance.

My father lived in Kyiv all life, was born in russia fleeing from germans in 1941, and died in Germany fleeing from russians in 2022.
  • These last couple years have really made it easy to realize how fragile reality is..

I just came back from Ukraine. It’s interesting to see this report from so early into the war, and seeing the contrast with today. Now, cities are much more relaxed, and they seem much more normal. Of course, businesses and homes still rely heavily on generators as power cuts are daily occurrence, there’s always the occasional air raid siren, and the cities and streets are full of soldiers and road blockades, but if you overlook these things it’s mostly a feeling of normality. I am and will forever be impressed by the mental strength the Ukrainian people has. The balls they got to simply go on with their life as their neighbour attacks them. They are confident they will win, they are certain Russia will fall. I love Ukraine and I cannot wait to be back on victory day. Slava Ukraïni 🇺🇦
