My dog has ALWAYS been a picky eater (10 years plus.) Have had to change her food every few months without fail . She has gone a day or two at times refusing foods. This time has been the worse so far: 6 days and will not eat ANY DOG FOOD I have presented (5 different kinds so far.) No Eggs or cheese nor wet cat food. Only CHICKEN.... took her to the vet ...he said her liver is way out of whack put her on denamirin... been 5 days now she will eat cooked ground beef , chicken and lunch meats but still no smashed carrots, sweet pots, green beans, plain rice... can actually feel her heart beat for the first time...she has lost so much weight....lets hope something gives soon ..still trying

with a different but higher quality food, this works for cats too. as the vet at Cat Hospital said "pay now, or pay me later." wet foods or home made (many dog or cat recipes are online) are around. yes, you are feeding another hungry mouth, it will cost in time, effort, and groceries expense, but your pet will appreciate it. and, in the long run, so will you.

I had to put my pup down at 18.5 years. Diabetic for the last 4.5 years of her life. I started home cooking at 9 and stopped all vaccines( we over vaccinate our animals which cause cancers and diseases. ) . I will do a few things differently with my new puppy now. Puppy vaccines, then vaccines only if needed after getting a titer test to see if antibodies are low. Home cooked meals that are high in protein and low in carbs.

All my cats and dogs die from the food giving them cancer and they stop eating the dog food but always love meat more than anything and seem annoyed when I add the dog food

Started feeding dr Marty’s freeze dried food and they love it

My dog won’t really touch his food at the moment but when I add more expensive wet food he eats a bit Think he’s gone off the cheaper stuff now I don’t blame him the quality isn’t as good as what he has now

My dog who ate twice a day 31/2 cups each yime..stopped eating after nexgard.. he shook couldn't walk diarrhea took 3 weeks.. damn you nexgard

I tried better quality food liek fresh food or different brand like pedigree. It helped allot

My dog isn't eating the home-cooked food she has loved in the past. Or kibble, she doesn't like the canned food, even plain chicken ..
