It sounds so much better than when it was only valued at $7million.
  • I found an old violin and an old painting in my attic, a Stradivarius and a Rembrandt, unfortunately the painting was by Stradivarius and the violin was a Rembrandt.
  • @rustyaxelrod
A shockingly historical, well made instrument, played in a room with amazing acoustics, by a real artist of a player and I’m listening on an iPad with a speaker the size of a nickel and I can still hear how great it is.
  • The Stradivarius is exquisite but it is the master violinist that brings her to life. A beautiful combination.
  • What an honor to see such a beautiful instrument being played….not just admired in a glass box.

Hearing a Stradivarius on YouTube is like admiring a painting from a videocall Edit: people that can't joke on themselves are LOSING it in the comments 😂😂 I'm not a snob, I just have a bit of self humor

Almost sounds like my $16 million stradivarius.

Absolutely flawless. The sound is so clean and perfect. No instrument, violin or not, will ever sound this great.

I’ve played violin for many years, but the clarity and depth to the sound this violin produces is second to none. Those notes do not sound the same on a regular violin, and if I had to guess a reason it would be the chamber of the violin. I think it’s perfectly shaped in such a way that it allows the sound to echo out from inside at almost the same frequency and strength. Incredible.

Plot twist: The real one was never taken out of the safe and nobody told them this is a modern quality replica xD
  • @MersuneLiku
The deep rich sound of the violin plus the acoustics of the church sound truly amazing.
  • @manisdogfish
I wish I could hear the rest of him playing. That was absolutely beautiful.

I got goosebumps when he played that last tune. danm.

2:06 - The violinist: "There's nothing like a S......"  *Other man interrupts*: "WWWWWWEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"

I'm unemotional for the most part. People often say "why aren't you sad about that" or "why are you not showing any emotions" but hearing this for real, in that place and if I had the skill to play it myself would send me in floods of tears. What a powerful experience. A very lucky man
  • Those first notes by Scott Yoo gave me the shivers. What incredibile sounds he could get out of that instrument.
