  • Thanks Sam I appreciate the opportunity to connect with my Low Vision Son on a level alone I find a challenge. Very inspiring I will return for more.
  • I am so hyped to watch this video I was hoping you would make a video on this. Thanks.
  • FROM CROATIA: Dear, I lack sufficient words to express my enthusiasm for the information on your channel, nor do I have enough gratitude. The quality of the video and your presentation is truly the best I could find, and for that, I congratulate you. I have worked in the education system for almost 30 years as a teacher and as a principal, I have a PhD in pedagogy, but I have rarely met someone who coordinates all the performance details so well. I have similar visual difficulties as you described in your case, and therefore, I am thrilled with the aids you represent, especially with the Envision Glasses (although I also like the Aceseidhe VR from Zoomax, where language is not important to me). I am interested in whether there is support for other languages in Envision Glasses, besides English, for example, the Croatian language? With utmost respect, Marijan Madunić
  • Was going to ask you a ? 19 min in but you already answered it for me.. lol.. You are covering it all.. Thank you so much for your content!
  • @r0bhumm
Hi thank you for this review, it made my mind up I was dithering between this and and or cam. I’ve just finished filling in the order form using your code hopefully Matt get you a bit of compensation.
  • It would be a good idea to create one like this for people whom are both deaf and blind. Maybe it could read their sign language and translate it to audio. It could vibrate different ways to tell them when it works or other functions.
  • Hi Sam, I'm incredibly grateful you are able to learn how to use different technologies like this so you can share different devices for us like this. Since I've lost so much vision, I've also experienced some impairment of my cognitive abilities and I am still learning how that has fallen out for me. I'm also still getting used to how much slower using adaptive tech is compared to just having vision. Sigh. Sounds like for my level of vision, I'm still best off using the OR Cam I got after a lot of thought. I'm also part of a peer support group for my region that meet twice a month online, and I have mentioned your channel a couple of times already. :) We are in Canada, but so much of your info is relevant to us. Sounds like this device, the Google glass one, still has a ways to go to be reliable enough in all situations. I'm not a fan of the need for wi fi or a hotspot.
  • Sam, this is an amazing piece of equipment and as always, you do an excellent job at these demonstrations. I really appreciate all of your videos. As I mentioned once before, because of your videos I was able to get an OrCam read device and it has been extremely helpful. The only problem I have with your videos even though I am subscribed I am not getting the notifications for them much anymore. Only a few notifications come through and I find the rest of them by going to the YouTube search feature for your channel. Anyway, thanks again for all of the great work that you do.
  • Thank you for your thorough review. I appreciate your video
  • Thank you! Great video as usual. Looks like a great item.
  • Thanks for the good review. My glaucoma is progressing quickly & I’m amazed at the wonderful technology for visually impaired people.
  • Using a hot spot works great with the Envision Glasses.
  • Hi this is a wonderful device for the Blind people roba Aunt price is very high but Price is very high of this device and your channel is very wonderful channel I appreciate you
  • Hey Sam, maybe you can put a little clip in this video saying that if you just want to use the envision app in conjunction with your phone instead of getting the glasses you can and its very reasonably priced!
  • Wooww, technology is a great thing!! Great video for a great item. Thank God for Google and you. Keep on sharing great material please.
  • My vision changes every day. Been to many eye doctors and got no help. Sometimes i Have a lot of trouble reading so since I have vision that goes up and down the library for the blind allows me to get library books. Some days I'm legally blind some days I am not. I am blind in one eye. :)
  • thank you that you write the functions in big leters!
  • Now that you’ve tested several wearables, which do you prefer as a person with a loss of center vision?
  • Would be neat if they teamed up with Aira or My Blind Eyes, in case someone in your contact list wasn't available.
