Dragon CRS-2 SpX-30 (CRS-30) is a Commercial Resupply Service mission that will be heading to the International Space Station (ISS) to deliver cargo. SpaceX was awarded this mission by NASA back in 2016 and will launch it on its Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket using a Cargo Dragon 2 – C209-4. The rocket will lift off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40), at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Seeing falcon boosters land never gets old. The insane precise way they do it is just amazing. It's all math, but still.
  • This is so routine that it's almost boring to watch now. Still amazing to watch the landings though.
  • @Steve-Cross
This never gets tired. I used to have a drone that did return to HOME automatically. It always amazed me how it managed to find the landing mat perfectly.

I love how it became normal. Hope the same for Starship Boosters or even Mars' atmosphere entry
  • @inqwit1
Another clean launch to space, leaves one with the confidence Spacex will get Starship right. Imagine when Starship becomes routine and starts earth to earth flights. Brilliant.

I suppose this will inevitably change one day, but I continue to be more and more impressed with SpaceX's record of flawless launches and almost flawless recoveries. The volume is impressive, the technological advances are impressive, but consistently succeeding to get payloads to where they need to go is just beyond impressive.

These launches ... even routine ...are always spectacular.

39:06 Looks like he’s along for the ride. Wheeeeeee!!!!
  • Hey Tim just received my falcon 9 rocket what an awesome model. Thanks for all you do
  • Notice on Boost-back flights, they use the blast from Stage II to help with the flip manouver - pushing on the top of the booster to help tip it to entry burn attitude.

Amazing stream, Tim. No one should strike your video ever. You are a national monument to our country, and you represent all of us.

An excellent shot of the landing - because the view on the left was continuous, there was no cut to a different angle.
  • Me : F9, go call your dad. F9 : My previous dad just RUD, and my new one is undergoing upgrades.
  • @ESowder24
Was odd that you were like 40sec or so behind NSF stream I was also watching at same time but glad I watched they missed showing the landing somehow
