    im wondering if the new rigging and animation toolset makes maya obsolete for game dev?
  • So, when are we gonna see the games that actually look like this? Because so far, every game released that uses UE5 doesn't look or perform like anything they advertised it doing in that nanite/lumen/triangle polygons video. Hellblade 2 uses it, but the game has black borders that are obviously tied to the game because of performance reasons.

  • Demo may not look same for production it need to run smoothly on market hardware Older game may look closer to demo because it has less poly and fancy effects, so marketed hardware still able to handle it

    These features are so unreal! It's necessary and reduces the time process for 3d movie creators
