I'm an Airbus captain and I still enjoyed that landing, especially when you disarmed autothrust, we almost never do that in the US. What beautiful scenery to fly in and out of.

That was an incredibly smooth landing considering that wind. Airbus definitely makes things easy for pilots in non standard approach and landing. No fiddling and faffing with cockpit systems, just the quiet relaxing approach and landing. Regards from South Africa

Incredible. Good job holding your nerve on short final. All of a sudden bumpy and unpredicatble but got it back on centerline for a smooth touchdown. Any more than that, I reckon you'd have quite rightly punched out. Nice work sir.
