Too bad you don’t have the Solarez for the phasers. You would have been done in hours instead of days. Suggestion on the tape. I loop the ends so they’re easier to grab when you pull it off. Learned that with large airliner models for the passenger windows.
  • I just purchased the Polar Lights 1/1000 scale Enterprise NX-01 and will hopefully be starting her soon after getting some model tools and proper paints. I'm hoping to get some helpful tips from watching your videos.

The saucer hangar bay will you be doing any of the inside for that , possibly it could be scratch built or 3d printed ? , I have seen photo etch for the smaller versions how ever being 1/650 should add extra detail especially if lighted & you can get 1/650 shuttles I have 15 of them some Delta flyers .

This is awesome! Will all of the phaser strips light up or just the saucer’s?
  • it looks great but too big, my Klingon B of P has a 28'' wingspan and that looks too big too but really awesome though, i think i'd prefer USS Reliant

Out of curiosity, what did you use to fill the gaps around the window frames? Resin? Regular spot putty?
  • Do you know if it still being offered? It would save me a lot of headache 3d scanning the 1400 and scale it up to 650.

Isn't the old 18" kit TOS Enterprise kit 1/635 scale? Why do people constantly think its 1/650? Rounding??........ Then why isn't the 22" Refit referred to as 1/550 instead of 1/537?
