crazy that the zodiac killer could've watched this video and even commented and we'd never know

Fun fact about Chikatilo: during the investigation of his killings, police started choosing smart people to help them, and from all of the people in USSR they chose Chikatilo. He was searching for himself for over a year
  • @beaksters
I love how the video just ends abruptly with a cutesy song.

One lesser known fact about Ted Bundy is that during his time as a law student, he worked at a crisis hotline center, where he gained insight into manipulating and controlling individuals.

Fun fact about Chikatilo: an innocent man was wrongfully convicted and executed for his first murder, the police were so desperate to get someone for the crimes that they ignored the fact that his wife, a friend of his wife and a bunch of his neighbors confirmed he was at home that day, even threatening to arrest his wife as an accomplice if she didn't say her alibi was false and threatening to arrest her friend for perjury. They also tortured confessions out of hundreds of people during the investigation

I feel like we should stop giving murders cool nicknames
  • @frogg83
another fun fact: there was a serial killer named Alexander Pichushcin nicknamed the chessboard killer (if I spelled his last name wrong, please tell me), who was actually inspired by Chikatilo to become a serial killer and aimed to kill even more than he did. thankfully he failed. he was named that because he loved chess as a child and wanted to kill 64 people, which is the same number of squares as on a chess board

Ted Bundy Side Fact: Ted Bundy studied law, he didnt do it for no reason. The judge's final words after his defense was: "Mr.Bundy, I would have loved to have you in this courthouse(as a lawyer) if it wasnt for all the despicable things you did. You are a marvelous student..."

9:55 interesting that you use the dolphin sound effect to censor that considering that dolphins commit that act quite a bit

my aunt lived in one of the neighborhoods the night stalker was active in when she was a kid. she’s scared of the guy to this day

Fun fact: Mahatma Ghandi came to london in 1888, the same year Jack the Ripper started killing. And when he left London, the killings stopped. People who witnessed ripper's victims for the last time reported they were talking with someone who was definitely not british, meaning he was likely from other country (That's why main suspect is Polish serial killer George Chapman). Of course its just a fun fact and in no way am i accusing Ghandi of anything.

Another fact about Andrey Chikatilo iirc, during police investigations he oftentimes showed up and "helped" the officers, which may have affected their process. He was described as a responsible citizen and a man with an active position.
  • the zodiac killer's first murder was in my hometown...it's so bizzare, Benicia is such a small town
  • @Auriorium
The Soviet Union always stated that: "Serial Killers are only possible in the degenerated West." or something like that, the Rostov Ripper proves them wrong.
  • @yahtforott4706
Little fact about Jeffrey Dahmer: he showed this acts of violence from a very young age. He would watch his dad prepare animals for dinner, and seemed satisfied by the mutilation, and cracking of bones. He would also take the bones and play with them, calling them his, “little playthings”
