The father who died was laying over his wife and daughter to protect them. This is heartbreaking.

The man who died is Corey Comparatore. He died shielding his family. He was a retired firefighter who just loved his country and wanted the best for it. This is so tragic. RIP

That young black man in the middle of all of this, he stayed calm & helped every single person he could before himself. At one point he sat down & took a look at that dead mans blood all over his body & he took a deep breath, went back to helping people.. The man in the white USA shirt pouring water on himself was a vet and worked trauma. He attempted resuscitation,but said the man was already beyond help and died instantly. This is heartbreaking, and a terrible time for our country. Prayers for the victims and families. Donate if you can.

Regardless of your politics, this is America and a man tragically lost his life and his family witnessed it. Their lives are forever changed because of the actions of a disturbed individual. RIP Corey Comperatore. Also keep in mind that 2 other innocent people are in the hospital, so keep them in your prayers. Just horrible.

I feel absolutely horrible for this hero family. To witness one of your loved ones last moments in front of your eyes has to be the hardest thing to witness in your life. You all will meet again.

I donāt know if anyone else understands the pain that wife is going through right now but the pain she is experiencing is unimaginable. When you are married you are one as the Bible says, you are one til death and when that death happens that is the ripping of souls. Your soul is literally ripped from your spouses and that pain is horrible.
