This is probably the most thorough farm tutorial I've ever seen. Someone who actually understands mechanics and EXPLAINS THEM IN THE VIDEO thoroughly.

Hey guys, i made a materials list for this farm: 11-12 stacks of glass 17 stacks of grass 17 stacks of wither rose 6 stacks + 32 of slabs 10 stacks + 32 nether bricks 3 enchantings table 48 iron bar 6 trapdoors 3 iron golems (12 iron blocks + 3 pumpinks) 2 buckets of lava 2 signs 2 stacks of cobble/netherbrick walls (NOT FENCEs) 7 hoppers 1 redstone lamp 1 lever 1 observer 2 minecart 1 sticky piston 3 redstone blocks 2 redstone torch 8 empowered redstone rail 4 rails 12 of redstone ∞ carpet 6 turtle eggs

You're going to need This is for the top part of the farm. 1086 Grass/Dirt/Podzol/coarse dirt 1086 Wither Roses [1083 Buttons/carpets/slabs for the mobs to stop spawning in the middle, this is optional but very helpful] 1381 Nether Bricks 1375 Carpets 1266 block of your liking 13 Glass blocks 519 Slabs of your liking 39 Trapdoors of your liking 84 Iron bars 40 walls of your liking 12 iron blocks 3 carved pumpkins 3 enchantment tables 15 dogies 42 solid blocks around the iron golems (don't know if they need to be glass or solid blocks) 2 signs of your liking 2 buckets of lava 6 turtle eggs This is for the killing and collection part of the farm. 62 Blocks of glass 48 Wall of your liking 32 solid blocks 4 slabs of your liking 10 hoppers 1 redstone lamp 1 lever 8 powered rails 4 rails 3 redstone blocks 1 observer 1 sticky piston 11 redstone 2 redstone torch 4 carpets 2 minecarts 2 dogies Gl everyone!

Wither Skeleton: Runs away from dogs Also Wither Skeleton: Falls into more dogs and gets killed

This seems like it'll get even stronger in the newest snapshot since they made it so only wither skeleton's seem to spawn on the roses.

This is the first video I've seen that explains all mechanics & has everything needed to know how to build a wither skeleton farm from scratch. Huge props!

Hello, and thank you for sharing the design! I finally got around to finish the build in survival mode, and while doing so made a few observations which necessitated some small additions to the design: 1. Glass walls are vulnerable to ghast fireballs and need a protective screen made from transparent blocks with explosion with blast resistance > 1, i.e. nether brick fence. 2. Blazes spawning within the farm can still attack players within LOS even while dying to the wither roses, potentially setting fire to the roses. This necessitates staying away from the front side of the farm, or else putting up an additional screening layer on this side (preferably transparent) to break LOS. 3. Blazes occasionally survive long enough to descend into the drop shaft, an issue while in auto/doggo-killing mode. I also elected to put the Wither arena up in the Nether ceiling nearby and combine it with a chicken-based wither rose farm (design courtesy of EagleEye621) to make the wither roses necessary to complete the wither skeleton farm.

Honestly, I don't really need a tutorial for the farm. But the actual info on all the spawning mechanics was incredibly helpful and something ive been confused about forever. So tysm

Tips for building this farm: -use leashes on your dogs when leading them into the farm. -create a cobble stone generator and auto smelter to make enough buttons -button up the insides of the farm until you’re finished. -remember to leave a gap at the top of the glass wall so the wither skeletons can see the iron golem. -lower render distance to reduce spawning outside your farm -create an auto sorter so you can dispense stone swords -can lead a hopper minecart under the bottom layer to have a low efficiency magma cream farm for magma blocks. For wither rose farm: -always remember to switch the farm off after using it -(for me at least) leaving it going overnight will destroy some of the rails and enclosure for the enderman. however the wither will not escape -once again create an autosorter to get rid of ender pearls.

This farm is so good I built it on my realm with my friends , it took us the full day but now I get stone swords, we placed about 52000 slabs for the conditioning
