Being a faithful Christian is hard. Peterson is 💯 It’s easy to believe and have faith. It’s haaaaaard to walk the narrow path

Every time I hear Jordan Peterson express how profound Christianity is, I am amazed at the beauty of my own dearly held beliefs. He is doing a service to us by showing us how deeply we ought to be thinking and how boldly we ought to be living in light of such a glorious calling.

I love Jordan’s realization of the magnitude of the “decision” to follow Christ

I became a Christian around 3 or 4 years old. At 5 years God told me I would be registered nurse. Then at age 9, I made a public conession of faith & was baptized. At age 19, Holy Spirit baptized me with the evidence of tongues. Im so grateful & thankful Jesus saved me when I was very young. I went to nursing school right out of high school. I've been following Jesus about 63 years. I'm so grateful & thankful Jesus called me and kept me so i could serve Him all of my days. He Is worthy of all my praise.

Our pastor once said. The Christian life isn't hard. It is impossible. Only by the grace of God are you saved through faith. Only by the grace of God do you get to exercise the results of your salvation. Yes there is work involved. It is work that follows only once you believe. You are nothing short of compelled to do good because God moves you to do good.

Many will claim and want to follow Christ, until they are confronted and persecuted for doing so. It is a blessing that Jordan speaks up and speaks what even those who claim to be pastors are not willing to say. Jordan is sharing more truth and being more honest than most leaders in churches.

Jordan Peterson reminds me of king Agrippa " almost thou persuadeth me to become a Christian " I believe Mr Peterson is so close and we need to pray for him. He keeps getting closer and closer. There is power in prayer. How many people will comment on this episode? If everyone of us holds him up in prayer to take that last step how many prayers would that be?

I am Christian. and i know what that means. no longer live in the flesh, but in spirit. and it is the hardest thing I've ever done. and every day i fail, but every day i try.

Shawn Ryan is a brand new convert. He made a very clear profession of faith recently and was baptized.

I actually recently attended one of Jordan Peterson's "We Who Wrestle with God" seminars in Charlotte and it was astounding. It felt almost like a sermon the way he was referring to the Bible and connecting it to life today. I think he's there he's just trying to navigate it. After hearing that seminar I'm fully convinced that he's a full believer because he was discipling whether he realized it or not and it was beautiful!

"I don't just believe it, I know it." I think he just explained what faith is -- a total acceptance with no doubt.

I absolutely loved this one. He is right. My depth of faith and my walk became narrowed and I lost everything, my kids my husband. My faith put me at odds with the world’s standards and what’s acceptable. I chose to walk it and it freed me plus I’m significantly closer to Jesus. However it comes with a price. Take up your cross and follow. Also the world hated Jesus first. It’s horribly difficult and emotionally exhausting but my peace and love, protection and assurance has come back 4 fold.

The man on the cross next to Christ had no works, had no baptism, had no "sacraments," had no Lord's supper - he believed and was with Christ in Paradise that very day.

Shawn Ryan recently became a Christian - he is still very new to the faith but seems to be learning and growing which is awesome! It was so cool to follow his journey to finding faith. Been following his content for a long time.

He sounds like me right before I was saved! I even led (read: Holy Spirit) someone else to Christ before I was there. It sounds like he's in the crisis of belief before you fully surrender and trust ON Jesus. You can tell because he doesn't talk about that personal relationship with God his father and it being the moment when he released it all, all the control, all the pride, all of his own works. Father God, please take this man to the place of surrender, where he calls you Lord and is born again in Your likeness, in Jesus name ❤🎉

Truly, I think Jordan is a believer. I just think he believes no one is asking him the question that would let US know that 100%. I would love to see someone ask “Are you born again?” or “Are you a praying man?” The question he’s usually asked just cause him a level of frustration that I understand completely. Words have power, and believers must understand this 🙏🤍✝️
