A lil scene from the book I'm currently writing :-)
I was drifting to sleep but I was awakened by a door knob rattling. Arman entered the room reeking of alcohol and slowly proceeded to the bed. On his lips, a little smirk formed. He simply kept moving closer and closer till I could feel his breath brush across my face, gradually starting to feel hot. I looked into his eyes that matched the dark night and I felt like I was drowning in his presence and perfume. His palm moves gently up to my bangs falling in front of my eye, smoothly placing it behind my ear and I catch my breath, my heart wants to escape my ribcage and with that he adds: “See you don't hate me that much Mira." He grins and leaves swiftly to the bathroom. I find myself catching my breath . I was filled with rage and resentment. Why do I keep feeling this way around him? I have only met him a few days ago but I can’t seem to control my feelings but I can control my anger. God, this is so frustrating! I have to keep my personal feelings aside if I want to get revenge. I loved him but that was before he killed my father. Now he is only a stranger who married me for some sort of deal. I closed my eyes and put everything that happened just now behind my mind and tried to get some sleep.
