To me, Nappy Roots and Field Mob were the true meaning of country. Both groups should have had a bigger push.

If you grew up in Georgia 2000s you know field Mobb is part of our child hood

I think it’s gonna be hard to make it as an Artist when your boss is also an Artist. He’s always gonna work in his best interest

Field Mob hands down were/are two of the most underrated rappers EVER! If they had the right people behind them they would be Legends! 229 Stand up!
-
Shawnna, Chingy, Field Mob! They all got the same story. It's pretty much official. Ludicrous is the Diddy of ATL.

Sick of being lonely was my jam!! Takes me back too 10th grade 02-03🙏 Great memories!!!

Listen! I feel Shawn 100%. I've definitely experienced being on a deathbed from 2017-2019 suffering from Lupus and my Mom did the same to me. I never realized how much my Mama wasnt there, until My Daddy died. Everyday i would sit up in ICU watching the clock praying she was gone walk through the door during visiting hours, after she would lie to me saying she was coming. When i came home, still recovering, she still didnt come, its like she didnt wanna deal with me. It still bothers me to this day, i got chills right now typing this. Its a resentment I have for her. I still love my Mama, just from a distance. I had to accept the fact that this how its gone be. Idc how old u are, when ur scared for ur life, u gone always want ur Mama. Im Praying for God to heal his body and his heart. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Field Mobb were so lyrical. Definitely one of the most slept on groups in hip hop

...I drove Sean J, doing Lyft, to Waycross, Ga. I was looking at him, and said, "u look like that rapper dude." He admitted and we had some DEEP conversations. Especially about the industry, The "illuminated ones", wanted to bring him in. He was invited to the party. J, saw some demonic things, and was never the same. I.M.O., this was the start of the unraveling of the group. Trust me, we deal against spirits and principalities!

Shawn J used to destroy people in the freestyle comps on the radio. He has barz. No matter what he's experiencing now,his skill can't be denied.

From tha roota to tha toota is still in my playlist rotation until this day. Will always be a classic album to me straight south shit. 🔥🔥🔥

I met Smoke almost 2 years ago. He is cool and down to earth. Sending healing vibes to Shawn J and may his body heal inside and out.
-
Field Mob's first three mainstream albums were on point. They should have definitely been way bigger
-
I loved Field Mob back in the day! Still bump some of their stuff from time to time!
-
Field Mob and Dirty were underrated. Both had good albums.

That last part was sooo cold. Sometimes family do you the worst even your own momma. He had to crawl while he was in excrutiating pain was hard for me to hear. That's why God said put your faith in no man.

This one pulls at my heart strings. As a fan, and a person that was in Albany during their blow to stardom, their downfall holds the weight of an entire city.

I definitely bought Field Mob's Album From The Roota to the Toota! That "Cut Loose" stayed in Rotation 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Smoke was my favorite Lyrically
