  • Sansa saying "we just need to make it to Castle Black" unwittingly shows how they already shrunk the universe by this point. Bran, Rickon, Hodor and Osha took the entirety of season 3 to get from Winterfell to the Wall. Sansa does it in about one episode.
  • @DaemonJulian
The irony is if Ser Alliser knew who Jon really was he would’ve probably loved him, considering he’s at the wall for supporting Aerys in the war.
  • @spookshow
The High Sparrow makes so much more sense in the books, where the smallfolk are dealing with the fallout of years of war and an approaching winter, turning to their faith and feeling more inclined to question the social order.
  • The funny thing about the "I drink and I know thing" they could have write "As a child I obssesed about dragons. I thought If I climbed on top of one I would see the world as people see me" And THAT is Tyrion's humor, he is self-depecretating Humor, because humor is how he shields fromt he world. If he laughs about the fact of being a Dwarf, then no one will find it funny anymore. While the "humor" is terrible in the show, it is also wrong, because it does not capture the core of WHY Tyrion makes jokes. He would not fire a joke (unless stressed) to another person just for shit and giggles, it is either to teacha lesson (To Jon) or to remind a person that no matter what they do, Tyrion can one up them.

"things balon can do" "hate balons children" LMAO
  • @Skullivander
Everytime you watch Tyrion post-S5: “Look how they massacred my boy…”
  • @lastquarter3992
My theory for Melisandre doing that weird ritual is that she was just pretending to do a ritual and was just doing random mysterious shit to keep up appearances because she knew she couldn't bring back the dead.
  • @BangerthBruder2
"The elevated portion of the earths crust", not gonna lie, this joke took me longer to get than I want to admit

Remember in the past seasons when killing a king or a lord used to be a big deal with serious repercussions? Well not anymore. Alara murders the head of house Martell and the guards do nothing. Alister murders the lord commander of the night's watch, and the Night's Watch does nothing. Ramsey Bolton murders the lord of the Boltons and the Bolton guards do nothing. Euron murders the head of House Greyjoy and the Greyjoys do nothing. At this point the series just became a complete joke. What's the point of having lords and kings if they can just murdered out in the open without any consequences for the assassins at all?
  • 36:22 lmao I color correct scenes too. Especially in S8, where most nighttime footage is pitch black. But yeah so much trash this season. S1-S4 Tyrion - delivering witty lines left and right that contain constant usage of literary devices; along with most of his lines thoroughly developing him as a character and the world around him. To season 6: I dRiNk AnD i KnOw ThInGs eye squint And I'm sure you'll roast Jon later in the season, but the fact that he has no life-altering character arc from being resurrected, and instead him becoming a more hollow character because of his lackluster dialogue is horrendous.
  • @Haedox
I was depressed, but now I’m not. Thank you Glimbus.
  • @vlad-im4499
Not letting Thorne live long enough to realize he killed Rhaergar's son is the only thing about this show that keeps not letting me sleep at night. Not even season 8. (Alliser is a Targaryen loyalist, that's why he's in the watch)
  • @amuletace
35:34 “I hope to GRRM that this event in the books is nothing at all like what happens here” GRRM: gotcha, it won’t be anything like this if I just don’t write the next book
  • @BillEcoff
That's an cool interpretation of the "Gold always was her color" line! Id always heard it as Cersei believing Myrcella was always marked for death
  • @RedThunder
I love how perfect the Australian accent is for being sarcastic
  • @Tenjeen
"He gets instantly Quentin'd" - I see what you did there!
  • @ryandoubleu.
Just when I thought a Friday couldn't get any better.... The Piss Maestro himself blesses us with another long awaited golden shower.

The best part about your videos is how highly rewatchable they are, unlike a certain TV show that was ruined by a certain duo of incompetent muppets.
