I met Brian a few times after a concert with him that I had the pleasure to promote. Brian is such a nice, polite and gentle person and so open minded. It's always a real pleasure to meet this real gentleman and musical legend and have a talk with him!
  • Brian Auger's playing makes the world a better place. Thanks for adding to the soundtrack of so many lives!
  • What a fantastic interview! The man is 84 years old and bright as a button, great to see…
  • You are a "Lucky Man" 😮 Brian! One of the Best... Ever! "Beginning Again" Classic of the Classics!!! What a Exquisite Solos on Jazz - Rock History!!! 🍇🍷🍾🥂🥩☕🍸🎉😇🇲🇽😎

From what I understood Brian Auger doesn't give interviews or public appearances very often, this video is a gift

In 2000 I had a studio in Los Angeles and our drummer said he was at the Baked Potato the night before and saw Brian play and it occurred to him that Brian would be great on the tune we were working on. So we called him and offered him $200 for one song. He said yes! We went to his place and loaded his silver sparkle B3 into his trailer and off to the studio we went. He was great, very gracious and played just what we had in our heads. He said he thought it was quite a catchy little tune. Thanks Brian!

Brian!!! One of my all time keyboard heroes! His fire is unstoppable. Wow. This is absolute gold. Thanks Claudio!
  • Never heard of this man, but WOW. What humility and kindness. He is so gracious to everyone around him.

The intro to Happiness Is Just Around The Bend is just incredible. Hear it once and it’s burned into your memory. Not to mention the positive vibes conveyed by great lyrics.
  • What a gentleman. I can never forget first hearing Wheels On Fire on Top of the Pops in the 60s, dark brooding edgy and overwhelming!

My goodness Claudio Shivers, Smiles and Tears. Love this guy. Such a humble person. I have been schooled today! Learned so much. Thank you so so much! ❤👍🏾🙏🏾👏🏾

I didn't know much about him but now that I see how he plays and the artists he worked with. This man is an international treasure, we must protect him.

This man was a very respected musician in London in the 60’s and ‘70’s and beyond. His band, The Trinity, performed in all the best clubs and he had many superb vocalists join him. He is most famous for partnering with a singer, Julie Driscoll, and they had a hit record with “Wheels on Fire”. I photographed Julie some years later, living in a small council flat in Notting Hill, London, the glory days long gone.
  • Brian Auger opened for Lou Reed at the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh in 75 or thereabouts. I was 15 too young to appreciate what I was lucky enough to be watching

This is the day I found out Brian has a Poly-800 and an M3 at home, which just happens to be exactly what I have in my living room right now. What a coinkidink! I love this conversation. Such good chemistry and fun stories. Had me tearing up at the end. Thank you for a great video! And I have to start practicing more of ”happiness = reality - expectations”!

I have loved this man for most of my life & this interview was probably the best I've ever heard or seen. Absolutely compelling, both musically & emotionally. That final speech left me in pieces. What a way to bow out. But best of all... he's still with us! (Happy 84th, Brai!) So thank whoever, whatever, however for that. LONG LIVE BRIAN AUGER!!
