I think the best Charlie moment is when the Century egg asks them to bury him and Charlie is like "yeah man, we will definitely go all the way to China to do that." But then it turns out he was being sincere.

to me, thw moment between charlie and mustard came off more as him completely missing mustard's signal. like, when he got annoyed and went "i already said i like fun" it sounded like he thought she ment literal fun and not hooking up. otherwise if he was flirting back, he'd probably act more smooth or reply something playful in return

Charlies girlfriend is alive in the christmas special in season 2 tho.

I love the idea that Charlie thinks politics is rigged, because he’s proven right, and that the media chooses who they want to win, but then proven wrong when Glep single handedly gets Mr Frog elected

Charlie seems like he’d be a super snarky cynical character but he really isn’t. He’s not as upbeat as Pim but as pim but he seems like a fairly positive person given the circumstances he finds himself in

I lik how you expect pin to overly trusting but it’s actually Charlie who continuously gets himself scammed

Charlie works well as a character because he contrasts Pim's more optimistic and joyful and naive personality more. He's more laidback, has a more realistic view on the crazy world he lives in, level headed, slightly pessimistic and serves a good foil. His design and Zach's iconic nasally voice fits perfectly. I like how in this season he is noticeably more irritated and gets angry cause of the batshit crazy stuff happening

I don't think Charlie even knew Mustard was flirting. I think he likes fun, and got annoyed at having to repeat himself.

I always interpreted that scene as Charlie misunderstanding what she meant by fun, and that's why he gets annoyed. I don't know if I've just been misunderstanding that scene this whole time or what

I like to think that Charlie had no idea what mustard was talking about and was completely clueless in the Simon S. Salty episode, just makes it funnier to me

Personally why I like him is because he just seems to be a more down to earth nice person and straightman. Usually with adult comedy shows the straightman tends to be the more jaded or cynical character that's suppose to be the grounding aspect of the comedy. But Smiling Friends switches ot by having him just be someone that reacts differently to a given situation. He's sometimes against what's happening and other times he vibes with it, so much so that you can sorta trace a pattern of his likes and dislikes, which help illustrate his inner character.

Charlie is just Zach’s normal online humor which is all they needed to do to be funny
