After watching this for the third time now I just realized we should of kinda figured out it was her roommate by the 3rd day, when she completely boards up her place, nobody else could of got in but her. So that would of been a pretty big hint.

The scene when baby face causes the explosion actually was a clue as to who was the killer. That birthday candle was the same candle that was always on the cupcake the Lori was trying to give Tree.

Honestly, the amount of growth Tree goes though is impressive for one horror movie. The fact that she was about to beat the loop but realized carter would never get to see tomorrow with her really hits me hard. She took her life from hanging just to be sure he lived. Good job, Tree

It's still fun watching this movie and going "Heyyy.. That's MY birthday!" and then being hit with the fear that I might wind up in a groundhog day scenario involving a crazed maniac who really doesn't like the fact I don't wash dishes.

I suspected Lori pretty early on but she was just one of several suspects. The birthday candle scene was what really convinced me! I also am a bit ashamed I fell for the fake out with the serial killer. I thought maybe the whodunnit aspect was the fake out from the start. I’m often pretty good at figuring out who the real villain is so I still consider my performance here a loss.
